Brawl Stars Season 54 Update: New Brawlers and Huge Price Drops

Season 54 of Brawl Stars has officially dropped, and the September 2026 update is packing some serious heat. Embracing the Back to School theme, Supercell has completely revamped how we unlock characters, added an insane crossover event, and pushed massive quality-of-life updates. More importantly, there is huge news regarding monetization specifically targeting the Brazilian community, marking a massive shift in mobile gaming accessibility.

Brawl Pass prices and cheap gems

Without making a big public fuss, the developers have permanently reduced the prices of all shop items exclusively for the Brazilian market, according to details sourced from official announcements and Brawl Stars Dicas.

The standard Brawl Pass dropped from R$ 27.90 to an incredible R$ 16.50. The Brawl Pass Plus is now just R$ 24.90, and the Brawl Pass Pro sits at R$ 45.90.

Gems got the exact same treatment. A bundle of 30 Gems is now R$ 3.90, and 170 Gems costs only R$ 18.50. While this is geographically locked to Brazil, it's a massive win for a huge portion of the player base and shows how serious the devs are about regional pricing in LATAM.

New Mythic Brawlers: Cosmo and Vince

The roster is getting two brand-new Mythic Brawlers who belong to completely different trios inside Starr Park.

First up is Cosmo, the head astronomer at the Starr Park Observatory. He has a unique control playstyle that requires you to really read the battlefield, predicting enemy movements based on his star-mapping mechanics.

Then there's Vince, a dedicated barista at the Creatures Cafe. Armed with an espresso machine and some multi-legged pets, his mechanics are fast-paced and require quick reflexes to pull off combo attacks that leave opponents stunned in a caffeine rush.

Duolingo event and new game modes

The weirdest and best part of the Back to School season is the official crossover with Duolingo. There's a brand-new Duo Boss Mode that supports up to 20 players fighting at once against the famous green owl. The boss will ask questions mid-fight, and you have to literally walk your Brawler to the correct answer. Get it right for a buff; get it wrong, and you take massive damage.

The community event kicks off on September 19, bringing a wave of free cosmetics and the chance to unlock Spike for free.

We also say goodbye to the old Trophy Road. It’s been replaced by the Brawler Bullet system—a shooting gallery where you spend vouchers to knock down targets. The last target standing becomes your unlocked Brawler, and missed spots yield Gem Shards for instant progression.

Toss in new Hypercharges for Nori and Wendy, plus massive ability buffs for Poco, El Primo, Amber, Gus, Chuck, and Shade, and you've got an update that completely shifts the meta.
