The Season 54 update brought the academy vibes and a crazy language-app crossover, but the real spooky season is right around the corner. Season 55 of Brawl Stars drops us right into the Brawl-O-Ween event, packed with fresh content, reworked mechanics like Brawler Blast, and new characters for the meta. If you're wondering when the action kicks off and what’s in the patch, here is the direct breakdown without the fluff.
Currently, the Royal Academy season is in full swing and is scheduled to wrap up on October 1, 2026. During these final weeks, players get to experience the chaotic crossover event with Duolingo, battling massive boss versions of the infamous green owl.
However, as soon as this wraps, Season 55 launches immediately. The entire month of October will be dedicated to the highly anticipated Brawl-O-Ween. This doesn't just change the lobby aesthetic—it introduces a new reward cycle and finishes rolling out the massive fall update features.
Halloween isn't just about a few map decorations this year. We are getting a full month-long event broken into multiple phases, entirely driven by a narrative story centered around Gus. As the days progress, the community will unlock pieces of the plot through puzzles and collective choices.
Alongside the return of classic Brawl-O-Ween bosses and a brand-new "gacha coffin" to pull rewards, the biggest lobby addition is Loony, Gus's balloon buddy. You can drag, poke, and squeeze Loony on your screen (be gentle!), and most importantly, it hands out loot. For every daily win, up to a hard cap of 6 wins per day, you charge up Loony. You can then pop it to claim Starr Drops or Chaos Drops. Forget to claim? The game automatically grants your earned drops the next day.
While September gave us Cosmo (the space-themed Mythic controller), October brings Vince, the perfect character for a creepy season. This new Mythic brawler is a bug-obsessed barista who attacks by slinging hot coffee.

The core mechanic for Vince involves managing a swarm. Caterpillars will spawn nearby; stepping on them or hitting them turns them into moths for your collection. You use these moths to buff your Super, but play carefully: if you get eliminated, you instantly lose 50% of your moth stack.
Say goodbye to the Starr Road. Supercell is revolutionizing progression with Brawler Blast, a shooting-gallery minigame. Now, when you spend your credits, you enter a mode where unowned brawlers of your target rarity become targets. You shoot them down, and the last character left standing is the one you permanently unlock.

While knocking down targets, you have a solid chance to find between 1 and 17 Gem Fragments. These fragments convert directly into progression for your newly acquired brawler, granting Power Levels, Gadgets, Star Powers, Hypercharges, or Buffies without draining your gold reserves.
Obviously, it wouldn't be Brawl-O-Ween without some top-tier skins to drain our wallets. In Season 55, the exclusive title for completionists is Paranormal Investigator, and the cosmetic lineup includes:
Whether you're grinding the Brawl Pass or saving up gems for the shop, October is packed. Start stockpiling those credits, and keep an eye on olagg.io for the best team comps to dominate the ranked ladder with Vince's unique kit.
