Midnight in Wiami - Super Early Access Wilder World

Midnight in Wiami, the first mode available in the Super Early Access version of Wilder World which everyone can get from the Epic Games Store, offers a racing experience set in Wiami, the main city of this metaverse. This game mode allows players to compete with a wide variety of vehicles on the illuminated streets of Wiami with realistic graphics, pushing speed and skill to their limits in the metaverse.

Players can customize their vehicles with a variety of upgrades and enhancements, ensuring each race is a unique challenge. From tight city turns to high-speed straightaways, Midnight in Wiami offers a variety of tracks and competition modes designed to test even the most seasoned racers.

How to Play

This game mode is an early access feature of Wilder World. Make sure to meet the minimum specifications to enjoy the game properly. Future updates will address hardware limitations to make Wilder World accessible to everyone.

Updates

Recent updates have implemented various improvements and bug fixes:

• Camera Issues: Camera visibility during race replays was optimized, and issues like camera intersection on Park track stairs and transitions in Wercedes and Hummer vehicles were fixed. Rearview navigation and garage camera rotation were also improved.
• Matchmaking and Re-Match Issues: Players of different levels can now compete together. Third players can engage with the level after a rematch, and issues like mouse cursor activation and rematch failures when a player leaves were resolved.
• Leaderboard and Points Issues: Players who leave mid-race will see their losses reflected in the rewards widget, and accumulated points are displayed immediately after races. Coin collection errors were also addressed.
• General: Garage visuals were enhanced, issues with Wevon taillights and Whelby crash damage were fixed, and gamepad floating issues were resolved. "All Cars" and "All Tracks" flyers were disabled on the Global Leaderboard.

MMED Rewards Pause

MMED rewards have been temporarily paused to allow for the review and improvement of their in-game structure. This adjustment will also enable the analysis of key data to optimize costs related to gas and damage before the next phase of MMED activation. Rewards will resume with the next major game release, allowing players to earn WILD through token-based race rewards.

Upcoming Releases

Public versions 0.6.0, 0.7.0, and 0.8.0 will be launched as a single release later this year. This approach aims to build greater anticipation and capture maximum attention, showcasing the best of Wilder World.

Version 0.8.0 is scheduled for a private release to the community at the end of December and will include:
