Off The Grid: new update with legendary weapons, special event, and Battle Pass.

Off The Grid releases a new update featuring a special event, revamped battle pass, and multiple gameplay improvements. Highlights include the arrival of Crash Test Ted, new legendary weapons, and key balance changes.

Crash Test Ted: violence under contract

One of the most striking additions is the new Content Pack: Crash Test Ted, a kind of human dummy armed to the teeth and forced to die on camera. Available with the OTG Pro service, this set includes:

• The emote Impact Replay
• The weapon Type 227 Flatliner, banned in three fictional countries

This pack not only brings an eccentric style but also aligns with the game’s new aesthetic and narrative direction.

New Battle Pass: CleanUp Crew & Hopper Pilot

The battle pass is divided into two completely different sections, both in content and tone. Each aims to take customization and madness to the next level.

Section 1 – CleanUp Crew
Suit up as those who have to deal with the aftermath:

• CleanUp Crew cosmetic items
• Emote No Pulse
• LMG Hawk Cleanup Crew

Section 2 – Hopper Pilot
Become an improvised pilot in the middle of chaos:

• Hopper pilot set
• Emote Emergency Ejection
• Weapon AZV Pilot

Additionally, this month players can unlock exclusive loyalty rewards, such as the Wolf Tamer skin for the Tacoma and the Ichnya.

Event: Teardrop Legendary Weapons

Alongside the new cosmetic content, the Teardrop Legendary Weapons event is launched. During matches, players can find legendary weapons with significant advantages:

• Higher base damage
• Pre-installed additional attachments
• Only 10 per match

These weapons are available in both loot crates and missions, aiming to intensify combat and reward active exploration.

Previous update: cross-progression and revamped economy

Before this new wave of content, the OTG team had already implemented major gameplay changes, including:

• Cross-platform invitation system, allowing squads between PC, Xbox Series, and PS5 players
• Complete overhaul of progression and economy, introducing OmniHexes
• Adjustments to aim assist, movement, and melee combat
• Balance tweaks to the experience curve and account rewards

These changes laid the foundation for the new content now unfolding in Teardrop.

Balance changes and fixes

The May 8 technical update brings numerous improvements to weapons, abilities, and overall gameplay. Some highlights include:

• TTK (Time To Kill) increased by 10%, making fights longer
• Individual adjustments to almost all weapon categories: ARs, SMGs, LMGs, Snipers, etc.
• Visual and functional improvements to abilities such as Recon Drone, Paralyzer, Slamfist, and Cyberlimbs
• Fixes to daily challenges, sound bugs, connectivity, collisions, and HUD

Reward systems based on placement, enemy scan visibility, and the use of gadgets and abilities in combat were also optimized.

New Solo mode schedule

The Solo mode has been updated and is now only available on specific servers:

• Firefly: 9AM - 3AM CEST
• Copper: 9AM - 3AM CDT
• CBS: 9AM - 3AM EDT

This change is part of an experimental test and subject to future adjustments.
