OLA TCG Season 2 begins this Friday, September 4, with a new competition, a points-based ranking system, improvements that make each match easier to understand, and new content to expand your collection.
The season will once again feature $50 USDC in rewards for the Top 10. Rankings are now determined through Season Points: winning is the most effective way to climb, but playing consistently also matters.
In addition, the new season introduces a more detailed summary after each round, access to the faction wheel during matches, and Legacy, the new OLA TCG Booster Pack.
Start: Friday, September 4, 2026 · Rewards: $50 USDC · Winners: Top 10 · Ranking: Season Points.
Players in OLA TCG Season 2 will compete for a place among the top ten positions in the overall ranking.
The total prize pool is $50 USDC, distributed among the Top 10 as follows:
| Position | Reward |
|---|---|
| 1st | $15 USDC |
| 2nd | $9 USDC |
| 3rd | $6 USDC |
| 4th | $5 USDC |
| 5th | $5 USDC |
| 6th | $2 USDC |
| 7th | $2 USDC |
| 8th | $2 USDC |
| 9th | $2 USDC |
| 10th | $2 USDC |
All players begin the season with 0 Season Points. From there, every competitive match adds points to the player's season total.
The amount earned depends on two elements: the match result and the weight assigned to that match based on its order during the day.
This means the ranking combines performance and consistency. Playing adds points, but winning remains the most effective strategy for climbing the leaderboard.
| Result | Base Points | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Win | 10 | The most effective way to earn Season Points. |
| Draw | 5 | Gives half the base value of a win. |
| Loss | 3 | Still adds progress and never removes points. |
A win is worth more than three times a loss. Participation matters, but strong results remain the most efficient way to climb the ranking.
The OLA TCG Season 2 ranking includes a gradual reduction for matches played during the same day.
The first match is worth 100% of its value. After that, each consecutive match receives a slightly lower weight, using an approximate multiplier of 0.85.
There is no daily match limit. You can keep playing as much as you want, but additional matches gradually award fewer Season Points.
| Match of the day | Points for a win |
|---|---|
| 1st | 10.0 |
| 2nd | 8.5 |
| 3rd | 7.2 |
| 4th | 6.1 |
| 5th | 5.2 |
| 6th | 4.4 |
| 7th | 3.8 |
| 8th | 3.2 |
| 9th | 2.7 |
| 10th | 2.3 |
At the start of a new day, the curve resets and the first match returns to full value.
You can keep playing after the first matches of the day. Each additional match simply contributes slightly less to the ranking than the previous one.
The daily reduction applies equally to all results. This means a win always gives more points than a loss at the same daily match position.
| Match | Win | Loss |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 10.0 | 3.0 |
| 5th | 5.2 | 1.6 |
| 10th | 2.3 | 0.7 |
| 25th | 0.17 | 0.05 |
This means playing many matches in a single day does not replace the importance of winning or the advantage of coming back to compete on different days.
At the end of a competitive match, OLA TCG directly shows the Season Points earned.
The number displayed already includes the reduction that corresponds to the number of matches played that day.
This information appears after both wins and losses. Duels that are not part of the ranking do not award Season Points.
OLA TCG Season 2 also adds more information to help players understand how each matchup was decided.
After a round and at the end of the match, players can check a points summary with information about the cards and abilities involved in the calculation.
This makes it easier to identify what happened during the round and which effects changed the final result.
The summary lets you review which cards activated abilities and how those effects influenced the result of each round.
OLA TCG uses four factions with advantages over one another.
During OLA TCG Season 2, the faction wheel can be checked while you play.
This lets you review faction advantages before making a decision, without having to memorize every matchup.
Season 2 also adds new cards to the collection with the arrival of Legacy, the new OLA TCG Booster Pack.
Legacy includes new cards featuring members of the community and joins the Booster Packs already available in the game.
As your collection grows, you can try new combinations, adjust your decks and experiment with different strategies.
The new Booster Pack expands the OLA TCG collection with new cards featuring members of the community.
OLA TCG collection progression is also connected to OLA Reactor.
To access Booster Packs, you need to keep your Reactor active. The system allows you to deposit USDC and use saving as part of your progression within the OLA ecosystem.
The deposited funds remain yours and can be withdrawn. This means progression does not depend on directly purchasing each Booster Pack.
