Free Robux: How to get them legally on Roblox

Robux are Roblox's virtual currency and allow players to purchase avatar items, products within experiences, and other content. However, there are no generators, universal codes, or external websites that give away free Robux.

Roblox states that Robux can be purchased with real money or earned through creation and monetization activities within the platform. Therefore, those looking to obtain them legally without purchasing them should mainly rely on the tools available to creators.

Creating experiences to earn Robux

One of the main ways to obtain Robux without purchasing them directly is to create experiences on Roblox. Developers can monetize them through in-game purchases, virtual products, and other tools available on the platform.

It is also possible to charge Robux for access to certain experiences. To use this feature, Roblox establishes requirements such as having an account that is at least 30 days old and making the experience public.

Creating an experience, however, does not guarantee receiving Robux. Earnings depend on other users interacting with the content and taking actions that generate monetization.

Selling avatar items

Another official option is to create and sell certain avatar items through the Roblox Marketplace. The earnings generated through these activities may be considered Earned Robux, a term Roblox uses to identify Robux generated through creation and monetization.

This option is subject to the requirements established by Roblox for publishing and selling each type of content.

Can Robux be converted into money?

Roblox has the Developer Exchange Program (DevEx), which allows creators who meet the requirements to convert certain Robux earned through content creation and monetization into real money.

Not all Robux are eligible. Robux purchased directly, obtained through gift cards, or received as part of a subscription do not count as Earned Robux for this program.

Avoid free Robux generators and websites

Websites that promise thousands of Robux in exchange for entering a username, completing surveys, or downloading programs are not official methods. Roblox warns that Robux generators do not exist.

Websites that request passwords, cookies, two-step verification codes, or personal information in exchange for Robux should also be avoided, as they may be used to steal accounts.

Official promotions should only be checked through Roblox's official channels.

Can Robux be received from other users?

Roblox offers official features related to gifts and transfers under certain conditions, although their availability may be limited depending on the user or region.

Trades made outside official tools are not protected by Roblox. Therefore, users should not provide account information or accept external agreements in exchange for Robux or items.
