The full arrival of Chapter 2.5 in Terra Villa in Pixels brought significant changes to gameplay mechanics, including adjustments to pet care, energy, and other key aspects.
Below are the most relevant changes, which in turn include the latest updates added up to February 11.
Cows, Sheep, and Turkeys now count towards the pet care limit on the map. As such, experience (XP) has also been added to new animals:
You no longer lose energy when trying to collect milk or feathers with a full inventory.
An adjustment has been made to energy distribution to align with the new gameplay mechanics. Passive energy is expected to correspond to the amount of work that can be done at the moment. This change is also intended to remain a fight against bots. Changes include:

Some of the changes are still to be optimized, and, like all changes, they are not always well received, as the new game mode feels restrictive and lacking in motivation. Higher level players may feel punished by the industry limit and because they no longer have any game mode when they reach higher levels.
However, the constant updates to Pixels reflect the team's commitment to the evolution of the game and the player experience.
