Anichess Launches M8 Rewards System

Anichess introduces a new reward system called M8, designed to recognize players’ daily activity without requiring purchases or complex actions. This onchain system, built on the Base network, allows users to accumulate points simply by playing.

The system is transparent, automatic, and focused on rewarding consistency. There is no need to buy tokens or complete extra steps.

How to Earn M8

To earn M8 points, players only need to complete at least one Quick or Ranked match per day. Each valid activity day grants 10 M8.

• Daily activity window:
  • UTC: 00:00 to 23:59
  • ET: 20:00 (previous day) to 19:59
  • HKT: 06:00 to 05:59 (next day)
  • CET: 01:00 to 00:59 (next day)

Claiming Points

Earned points must be claimed using the M8 Claim button in the game’s top navigation. The claim window is open from Monday to Friday at the following times:

• 07:00 UTC
• 03:00 ET
• 09:00 CET
• 15:00 HKT

⚠️ If not claimed before the next cycle, M8 points will expire. On Mondays, players can claim points earned on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Previous Points Integration

Points earned during Season 3 have already been automatically converted to M8. Players can check their current balance and continue accumulating.

Future Uses of M8

M8 points will serve as access keys to various advantages within the Anichess ecosystem. Some of the announced utilities include:

• Spells: magical mechanics to expand gameplay options.
• Cosmetics: personalized boards, backgrounds, and pieces.
• Lootboxes: elemental rewards that may contain $C tokens.
• Gambit Mode: a competitive mode where M8 serves as an entry ticket.

Consistently stacking M8 will provide access to these features in future updates.

M8 does not replace skill, but it rewards consistency. In Anichess, showing up regularly brings direct benefits, and those who stay active will be better positioned when new features are launched.
