Wild Rift Patch 7.1 Preview: K'Sante, graphics engine and more

The Wild Rift is preparing to receive one of its most important technical updates of the year. The Wild Rift 7.1 patch will officially arrive on April 8, bringing massive performance improvements and new content.

Below, we present a preview with all the confirmed information so far, so you can prepare your device and save download time on launch day.

K'Sante and new skins in the Wild Rift 7.1 patch

The main course of this update is the arrival of a new top laner. K'Sante will land in the game on April 8, accompanied directly by his thematic skin from the musical band Heartsteel.

In addition to the new champion, version 7.1 will begin its cycle with the Soul Fighter skin line. We also know what other cosmetic novelties are confirmed for players:

• Free Zoe skin: It will be available when the patch arrives.
• Legends Collection: It will be enabled along with the update.
• Gragas skin: It will arrive later during the course of the version.

Massive graphic engine update in Wild Rift

Riot Games will implement a significant improvement to the game's graphics engine to optimize the experience for all users. These changes aim to reduce lag issues and improve the title's visual performance.

You just have to go to the "Settings" section and then to "Resources" within the game. If you have automatic downloads enabled, this process will be done on its own. Keep in mind that on launch day you will still need to download a small update from your app store to apply the changes.

Champion changes: Malphite gets renewed

Finally, the preview confirms that Malphite will receive adjustments during this version. Developers have updated all of his ability icons to give them a modern and fresh look.

In addition to the visual improvement in his interface, the rock champion will receive some balance changes to his stats, which will be fully detailed once the official patch notes are published.
