Clash Royale received a mid-March update that introduces several changes to the game. Among them, the most important is the new Hero unlock system, which removes randomness and allows players to directly choose which character to obtain.
With this update, Heroes are no longer obtained randomly. Players can now choose exactly which one to unlock using a new currency called Hero Coins.
Each player at Arena 5 or higher receives 200 free Hero Coins, allowing them to unlock a Hero as soon as the update goes live.
This change aims to give players more control and make deck planning easier.

Hero Coins replace the previous fragment system. These coins allow players to unlock any available Hero once they reach the required amount.
Key points of the system:
Additionally, players who already had Heroes unlocked can claim these coins for a limited time.
Another important change is that new Heroes will be available from the moment they are released. This means players will not need to wait for events or special systems to obtain them.
By collecting 200 Hero Coins, any player can unlock new content directly.

The update also modifies how decks are built. The number of special slots has been reduced and organized as follows:
The Wild slot allows different types of cards, maintaining flexibility without increasing complexity.
5-Star Magic Lucky Chests now provide more Wild Cards. Depending on the chest level, players can receive enough cards to complete full upgrades.
Drop rates have also been adjusted, changing how rewards are distributed.

The update includes improvements across different areas of the game:
These updates aim to improve the overall experience without changing the core gameplay.
