How to Get Ancient Technology Points in Palworld: Complete Guide

Ancient Technology Points in Palworld are used to unlock recipes for advanced items in the Technology menu. They are different from Ancient Civilization Parts, which are used to craft those items. Here are all the ways to get them.

How to Get Ancient Technology Points

There are three main methods:

1. Defeat Tower Bosses

Each Tower Boss grants 5 Ancient Technology Points.

• There are 5 main towers: Rayne Syndicate, Free Pal Alliance, Brothers of the Eternal Pyre, PIDF and PAL Genetic Research Unit.
• You only get the points the first time you defeat them.
• The first boss is Zoe & Grizzbolt (part of the tutorial).

2. Defeat or Capture Alpha Pals

Each Alpha Pal grants 1 Ancient Technology Point.

• They appear marked on the map.
• They respawn approximately every 1 hour in real time.
• They also give a lot of experience.

3. Ancient Technical Manuals (since update 0.2.0.6)

• They appear in dungeon chests.
• When used they grant 1 Ancient Technology Point.
• They have a higher chance to appear in high-level dungeons.
• They are the most consistent way to farm points in the late game.

With these methods you will be able to unlock all Ancient Technology recipes progressively.
