Confirmed: Jujutsu Kaisen Announces Its Upcoming Theatrical Release

The universe of Jujutsu Kaisen is getting ready to return to the big screen.
The franchise has confirmed the release of a new compilation film titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution,
which will serve as a narrative bridge toward the highly anticipated third season of the anime.

With this production, fans will be able to relive the most impactful events that took place in Shibuya and jump directly into the beginning of the Culling Game.

What will the movie be about?

Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution will not be an original story,
but rather a compilation that brings together two key moments of the plot:

• The Shibuya Incident Arc, considered one of the most decisive in Gege Akutami’s work.
• The first episodes of the Culling Game, the arc that sets the direction for the third season.

This format aims to refresh the viewers’ memory and provide a recap of the most significant events
before entering a new stage of the series.

Confirmed release dates

The film is scheduled to premiere in different regions:

• Japan: November 7, 2025.
• North America: December 5, 2025.

In Latin America, another compilation film had already been announced under the title
Jujutsu Kaisen: The Hidden Treasure / The Lost Treasure.
Although both are part of the same recap strategy, they correspond to different moments in the story.

Road to Season 3

The third season of Jujutsu Kaisen, which will adapt the full Culling Game Arc,
is scheduled to premiere in January 2026.
The Execution movie will serve as a direct preparation,
helping viewers connect the previous events with what is to come.

With this schedule, fans will be able to relive the most intense episodes in theaters
and approach the TV premiere with the storyline fresh and in order.

Its release in November and December 2025 will allow audiences to catch up before the start of the third season in 2026,
