Indie studio TRYMISS has announced Counter-Strike: Mobile Offensive, an independently developed Counter-Strike game for mobile. The release is scheduled for November 26, 2026 on Android and iOS.
Valve is not involved in the project.
It is a fan-made project that has been in development for over a year. The studio released its first official trailer this week.
The footage shows:
The game takes up less than 2 GB, a decision aimed at players with storage and data limitations.
TRYMISS openly describes it as a fan-made project, with no licensing agreement or official support from Valve.
Valve has historically protected its intellectual property, especially when potential revenue is involved. So far, TRYMISS has not revealed any monetization plans.
The absence of a declared revenue model places the project in a different legal position compared to a game with in-app purchases or an upfront payment. Even so, there is a possibility that Valve could take action before the release date.
Valve has never released an official Counter-Strike game for mobile. CS2 remains a PC and console experience. That gap is what TRYMISS is trying to fill with a version adapted for touchscreens.
The response to the trailer indicates there is demand from the community. It remains to be seen whether the final product can deliver the feel of Counter-Strike on mobile devices.

The announced date is November 26, 2026. Both the date and the final form of the game could change depending on how the intellectual property situation with Valve develops.
It is recommended to follow TRYMISS’s official channels for possible updates before launch.
