Where to find all the Gobs of Gobstones in Hogwarts Legacy

Gobs of Gobstones is a side quest available in Hogwarts Legacy that takes place inside Hogwarts Castle. The task consists of locating six Gobstones hidden in different areas of the castle and returning them to a student. Completing this quest allows players to obtain useful rewards for character customization.

How to start the Gobs of Gobstones quest

The quest is activated by speaking with Zenobia Noke, a student located in the Astronomy Wing of the castle.

• Recommended fast travel location: Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower.
• From this point, simply follow the quest marker to find Zenobia.

During the initial dialogue, the player agrees to help her recover the Gobstones that other students hid around the castle after losing to her in a game of Gobstones.

Requirements to complete the quest

• Free access to Hogwarts Castle.
• Use of the Accio spell, required to collect some Gobstones located in elevated areas.

Locations of all Gobs of Gobstones

In total, six Gobstones must be found. The minimap guides the player to each area, but the objects are placed in elevated or hard-to-see positions.

1. First Gobstone – Astronomy Wing walkway

• Located on top of an elevated walkway.
• The Accio spell is required to pull it closer.

2. Second Gobstone – Staircase with house banners

• While going up the stairs, look at the house banners.
• The Gobstone is resting on the wooden structure holding them.

3. Third Gobstone – Chandelier

• Before reaching a ladder, look upward.
• The Gobstone is placed on top of a chandelier.

4. Fourth Gobstone – Ravenclaw Tower

• Upon reaching the Ravenclaw Tower area, look at the pillars.
• The Gobstone is located high on one of them.

5. Fifth Gobstone – Trophy Room (between suits of armor)

• Inside the Trophy Room, look between two suits of armor.
• The Gobstone is visible from the center of the room.

6. Sixth Gobstone – Trophy Room (near vases)

• In the same room, close to several decorative vases.
• It is positioned lower than the previous ones.

Returning the Gobstones and final decisions

Once all six Gobstones have been recovered, the player must return to Zenobia Noke. During the final dialogue, several response options are available.

These choices only affect the narrative outcome of the quest. Regardless of the decision made, the quest is completed after the conversation ends.

Gobs of Gobstones quest rewards

After completing the quest, the player receives:

• Experience (XP) for finishing the side quest.
• A quest-exclusive wand handle, randomly selected from five possible options.
• One of the possible designs is the Orbicular – Violet Wand Handle.
