EA Motive Iron Man Game Gameplay Footage Leaked

Two and a half minutes of in-development gameplay from the Iron Man game by EA Motive Studio have leaked online. The studio has confirmed that the material is authentic.

Leak details

The video carries an “AUG26” watermark, indicating it comes from an internal playtest session in August 2026. Motive did not plan for this to be released; it is material from a feedback-gathering phase.

The game has been in development since September 2022 and until now no official gameplay footage had been shown publicly.

What the gameplay shows

Although the material looks early and includes unfinished assets, several elements can be identified:

• Playable combat and flight mechanics
• Suit armor customization
• S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier design
• Japan as one of the locations
• Story characters: Pepper Potts, Rhodey, Obadiah Stane and Justin Hammer
• Possible appearance of Madam Masque and Crimson Dynamo

Project context

This title is part of a three-game Marvel deal with EA. The second project, focused on Black Panther, was canceled. The Iron Man game is the one that remains active from that collaboration.

The leak is not related to the old Avalanche Software Iron Man project, which was canceled years ago. This is EA Motive’s current active project.

Development status

The August 2026 watermark confirms that the studio is currently running tests and gathering feedback. This indicates the game is still some distance from a release-ready state.

No official release window has been announced so far. EA has not made additional comments beyond Motive’s confirmation of the footage’s authenticity.
