The participation of OLA Guild Games in Gamescom Latam 2025 was more than just a presence: it was a clear demonstration of the progress of Web3 gaming in Latin America. Over five days of the event, OLA not only showcased games and activities, but also generated a real impact on the community, media, and industry.
The event brought together more than 130,000 people in São Paulo, and the OLA booth became one of the most visited spots. Playable stations, interactive activities, tournaments, giveaways, and content creator spaces were available.
The booth was buzzing with activity, operated by members of OLA’s communities, reinforcing its commitment to local engagement.
The Parallel TCG Tournament, organized by OLA, was one of the event’s highlights. With $10,000 USD in prizes and 128 players competing in online qualifiers, only 16 reached the in-person finals.
The champion was Naelith, who became the first winner of a live Parallel tournament in Latin America. The stream reached 194,000 views, demonstrating strong interest in this type of game across the region.
The OLA booth hosted 50 content creators, who shared their experience live with their communities, expanding the event’s digital reach. Additionally, three professional Esports teams (RED Canids (Peu, Tutz, and Grevthar), Team Liquid, and FURIA) tried Off The Grid in exclusive sessions, sparking further competitive interest in the game.
The communication strategy was key to amplifying the impact:
Beyond the numbers, OLA Guild Games’ participation in Gamescom Latam 2025 was a sign of the region’s potential: talent, community, and capacity to engage in the development of Web3 gaming.
With the support of partners like Avalanche and Parallel Studios, and titles like Off the Grid and MapleStory Universe, OLA reinforces its role as a bridge between players and new technologies.
