Complete Beginner’s Guide to Taskbar Hero – Best Starting Team and Talents 2026

Starting a new RPG always creates doubts, especially when choosing the right class and knowing how to distribute talents. This guide will help you have a more comfortable and efficient start in Taskbar Hero.

Which class should you start with?

The game offers several classes available from the beginning:

• Explorer (Archer)
• Knight
• Priest (Free DLC)
• Wizard
• Hunter (DLC)
• Assassin (DLC)

The most recommended and comfortable starting composition is:

Recommended Starting Team: Knight + Priest + Explorer

• The Explorer acts as the main DPS thanks to its high attack speed and good ranged damage.
• The Knight serves as the tank, absorbing damage with its high health and armor.
• The Priest is in charge of healing the tank to keep it alive as long as possible.

With this formation you will be able to progress without major problems until approximately stages 3-5 on Normal difficulty. After that, without good equipment, the difficulty increases considerably.

Recommended change for Mid Game: When you reach stages 3-5 (Normal) or 2-5 (Nightmare), change your team to: Priest + Explorer + Wizard

Important tip: Acquire the Support Package as soon as possible. It includes pets that significantly speed up your progression.

Recommended Talent Distribution

Explorer (Main DPS)

• Initial priority: Flat Damage and Attack Speed
• First 3 levels: all points in Attack Damage
• Unlock Triple Rapid Shots (do not choose Triple Shot)
• Then invest 4 points in Attack Speed and the rest in improving the skill

Knight (Tank)

• Until level 10: 8 points in Health, 1 point in main skill and 1 point in Attack Damage
• After level 19: prioritize maximizing Armor

Priest

• Until level 10: invest mainly in Healing and the rest in Health
• When unlocking the second skill slot: prioritize Blessing of Strength (+90% additional damage for the whole team)

Mid Game Phase

Priest (Main Tank)

• Prioritize Health, Armor and Cooldown Reduction
• Maximize Improved Healing, Health Increase and Damage Absorption

Explorer (Main DPS)

• Focus on Flat Damage, Physical Damage %, Attack Speed, Critical Chance and Piercing Arrow

Wizard

• Prioritize Cooldown Reduction and Fire Damage
• Unlock Fireball and Fire Hydra (excellent for area damage)
