Digital Identity: Get Started with a Ronin Profile

Sky Mavis has introduced Ronin Profiles, a new feature integrated into the Web Wallet that marks the beginning of an onchain reputation system within the Ronin ecosystem. This initial version (MVP) allows users to create a basic profile and start connecting their onchain activity to a verifiable identity.

Why does onchain reputation matter?

In an environment saturated by social media exposure, a user's onchain history provides verifiable information about their behavior and commitment.

While anyone can claim to support a project, their onchain activity reveals objective data. Until now, Ronin lacked a consistent and trustworthy system to showcase this information.

Ronin Profiles aim to fill that gap.

Over time, Ronin Profiles will make it easier for developers to identify active and engaged community members. This will enable the creation of:

Currently available features

The initial version of Ronin Profiles is now available to any user with a Ronin Wallet. Some of the live features include:

• Viewing token balances across multiple linked addresses.
• Checking recent activity and tracking $RON and $AXS staking.
• Accessing bounties with real rewards.
• Customizing the profile with a non-unique name and a preset avatar.
• Linking social accounts.

Users can link up to six addresses to a single profile.

How to create a Ronin Profile

1. Go to the Web Wallet
2. Connect your Ronin Wallet
3. Click “Sign-In” in the top-right corner
4. Follow the steps to complete your profile setup

Note: You’ll need a keyless wallet or must create one in order to access your Ronin Profile.
