After years of development and multiple tests, Nyan Heroes, the tactical shooter featuring cats piloting mechs, has announced the closure of its studio due to lack of funding.
Following their fourth playtest, the 9 Lives Interactive team expressed gratitude to the community for their support. However, despite the progress, the game did not reach the expected number of players, preventing them from securing the necessary funds to complete development.

Was this the case for Nyan Heroes? Did the waiting time impact the project's momentum? In a market where trends shift rapidly, the ability to maintain community engagement can often determine a game's success or failure.
