The 1.0.9.5 update of RavenQuest, released on June 17, 2025, introduces significant changes in preparation for the upcoming Treasures Below (1.1.0) expansion. While the content of this major milestone is being finalized, the team has launched an intermediate version that brings progression improvements, a new group quest system, balance adjustments, and various functional fixes.
Boss Bounty System: new rotating group quests
One of the most notable additions is the Boss Bounty System, a new type of Story Quests issued by Grandmaster Maxxor of the Rangers Company. These missions challenge players to once again face some of the most iconic bosses in the game.
How it works:
- Every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, one of the following nine bosses is randomly selected:- * Shark Goldenmaw
- * Myrdyr
- * Serafine
- * Blake
- * The Red Count
- * Lord Skorn
- * Igneas
- * Djinn Colossus
- * Elemental Jackals
- To participate, players must have completed the main story quest for the respective boss.
Rewards:
- 15 Ravencrest Emblems per completed bounty
- A large amount of Fame, more than 10 Aether Rift victories
- No entry cost — just a completed Story Quest and the will to fight
Players can begin these missions at Glademire Fort by speaking with Grandmaster Maxxor.
Extended progression: level cap raised to 80
The update increases the level cap for Archetypes from 75 to 80. As a result, the Effective Level can now also reach 80. This change directly impacts character development:
- More Attribute Points from active Archetypes
- More Skill Points from both active and inactive Archetypes
- The softcap for stat scaling now extends beyond level 75
This adjustment benefits both those who optimize their main setup and those exploring new combinations.
Balance adjustments: specific build tweaks
Based on community feedback, three key adjustments were made:
- The effect now depends on the type of weapon equipped.
- "Receive 10% less damage when equipped with any shield and a melee weapon. Receive 6% less damage when equipped with any shield and a ranged weapon."
- Spell Power bonus reduced from 6% to 5%.
- "Your critical strikes have a 15% chance to increase your Spell Power by 5% spell damage for 8 seconds, up to 3 stacks. Every subsequent stack will refresh the duration."
- Cooldown increased from 23 to 27 seconds.
The team will continue to monitor class performance and combinations in Rifts.
System and quality-of-life improvements
- Medium Chicken Pen: 1,560 → 1,350 silver
- Medium Hare Pen: 1,560 → 1,350 silver
- Medium Pig Peg: 1,800 → 1,350 silver
- Medium Turkey Pen: 2,100 → 1,755 silver
General fixes
- Aether Stones experience now correctly counts toward Rangers Company tasks
- Harvest icons now only appear when within harvesting range
- Fixed Portuguese translation inconsistency for "Fishing Rod"
- Resolved an issue that caused the Bank UI to disappear unexpectedly
- Fixed incorrect stack behavior of Deep Burning when using Erupt and the Wildfire Jackal RavenCard with Meteor Strike. The card now correctly references stacks applied by Erupt
