The GAM3 Awards 2025, organized by GAM3S.GG, brought together studios, communities, and industry specialists to recognize the most notable projects in the Web3 gaming sector. The ceremony, held on November 21 in Manila, featured 21 categories covering traditional genres as well as fully on-chain experiences.

With more than 900 nominated games and a jury of over 80 experts from companies such as Sony, Ubisoft, Konami, Google, and Amazon, the event provided a broad overview of the ecosystem’s current landscape.
The 2025 edition was led by Off The Grid (OTG), selected as Game of the Year after also winning Best Action Game, Best Shooter, Best Esports Game, and Best Multiplayer Game.
The title stands out for combining narrative, tactical combat, and competitive modes within a persistent environment where player decisions influence the world’s development. Its hybrid structure—merging story-driven campaigns with competitive experiences—positioned it as one of the most comprehensive proposals of the year, illustrating how a Web3 game can integrate into traditional gaming dynamics without relying on blockchain-driven promotional elements.

Another highlighted project was Pudgy Party, winner of Best Mobile Game and Best Casual Game. Its design focuses on quick matches, social interactions, and accessible minigames, incorporating characters from the Pudgy Penguins universe as interoperable digital assets.
Its emphasis on short sessions and simple mechanics allowed the game to position itself as an entry point for new users in the Web3 ecosystem, showing that casual experiences can also benefit from digital ownership without introducing technical complexity for players.
In the strategy genre, the award went to Parallel, which won Best Strategy Game thanks to its tactical card-based structure set within a science-fiction universe.

The game is built around five distinct factions and combines traditional TCG systems with verifiable ownership mechanics. Its strategic depth, deck-building complexity, and faction balance positioned it as a key reference in the genre, demonstrating how competitive dynamics can coexist with Web3 functionalities without altering the essence of the format.
Among fully blockchain-centered developments, Cambria received the award for Best On-Chain Game. The project executes its rules, progression, and states directly on-chain, enabling a high level of transparency and verifiability. Its design focuses on a construction and exploration system where every action is recorded programmatically.
Cambria’s achievement highlights the growth of fully decentralized experiences in the sector and the increasing interest in game models where blockchain infrastructure is not an add-on but the foundation of the experience.

Regarding infrastructure, the recognition given to Ronin as Best Ecosystem underscores the network’s role in expanding Web3 gaming. Designed as a game-focused Layer 1, Ronin provides tools for studios requiring low-cost transactions, scalability, and stability.
Its growth—driven by projects such as Axie Infinity and Pixels, along with new integrations—positioned it as a key platform for implementing digital economies and large-scale experiences.
Beyond these main winners, the ceremony recognized projects such as The Bornless (Best Sound Design), Project O (Best Art Direction and Best Card Game), FIFA Rivals (Best Sports Game), EVE Frontier (Best Adventure Game), and Pixels (Best Browser Game).
Awards also acknowledged community and content-creation efforts, including People’s Choice for Sunflower Land, Games’ Choice for Gigaverse, and Best Creator of the Year (CCOTY) for Cagy (cagyjan1).

The award for Best Remixer of the Year went to InsideTheSim, a category that reflects the increasing importance of creative content reinterpretation within the ecosystem.
The ceremony included a prize pool exceeding $7 million, distributed in financial support, infrastructure, and services to accelerate the development of the winning projects. The combination of expert voting (90%) and community voting (10%) provided a balanced selection based on technical criteria, design, accessibility, and social participation.
The GAM3 Awards 2025 offer a broad view of the Web3 gaming landscape, where competitive experiences, casual titles, complex strategy games, and fully on-chain developments coexist. The presence of titles such as Off The Grid, Parallel, Pudgy Party, and Cambria, along with the recognition given to the Ronin ecosystem, highlights the diverse approaches shaping the sector’s evolution.
With steady growth and an active community, this year’s edition reinforces the GAM3 Awards as a key reference for analyzing trends and dynamics within the ecosystem.
