WanderCorp is presenting this week the official launch of its $WANDER token, scheduled for January 10, 2025 through its first campaign called WanderDrop1 on the Base network.

$WANDER Token Features

$WANDER will be a multi-functional token that allows users to participate in all the activities developed by WanderCorp to enhance gameplay. With this, you can stake, which will give you another token in exchange, or buy packages that allow you to improve the performance of your experience in the game. See how it works in full:

Initial uses of the token:

• Staking: Since its launch, $WANDER will allow you to passively generate Dark Matter, a rare resource that will unlock rewards that are still in development.
• Purchase of RAM Packs: No, it does not refer to speed improvements like on a computer, but it does go along the path of providing better performance, in this case, in the deck of cards that you can use, in addition to skills and memories of past heroes.

• Participation in Aerodrome: Of course, being a game in the BASE network ecosystem, you will have an integration in the main liquidity and trading platform in Base. Every liquidity movement can help for some airdrop, you never know.

Distribution and Assignment

The token distribution seeks to strengthen the community and the Wanderers ecosystem, while being thought of in a balanced way so as not to generate uncertainty among the players and, in turn, the partners or investors. Therefore, it is distributed as follows:

The community will play a fundamental role, since 2% of the initial supply will be managed by the Guardian Council, elected by the users themselves, a step that gives confidence in this type of projects.

WanderDrop1: First step in the expansion

The launch of $WANDER will be done through the WanderDrop1 phase, focused on rewarding the active community before December 31st, 2024 in the game.

All participants will be able to claim their tokens from January 10th for a period of 88 days. And be careful, because if you don't make it in time (some distraction), you will lose them and they will be reallocated to the WanderDrop2 stage.

Future Perspectives

The use of $WANDER is expected to expand towards in-game purchases and on-chain minting of RAM packs, thus linking the gaming experience directly to its own token.

Dynamics that may have been copied from some of its partners such as Pirate Nation or Paradyse Tycoon, games with which if you had a link, you may also have gotten a part of the airdrop.
