This patch brings card adjustments and bug fixes, aiming to make the gameplay experience more dynamic and fun.

Patch Focus

Nicknamed the "Shotgun Patch," this update aims to implement a large number of changes without targeting a specific meta. Rather than relying on hard data, the team simply decided to make a lot of cards more fun.

Priority was given to changes in expansion and Battle Pass cards, although some Alpha cards were also included. Later on, the Alpha Rework Patch will arrive, taking a similar approach but focused on the core card set.

MARCOLIAN
  • Crimson Fleet Machinist: Less flexibility in combo with Bloodhound Transport.
  • Logistics Officer: Cost reduction for creative plays.
  • Catherine, Sword of Valli: Compatible with all but one Paragon.
  • Fleet Support: Cost adjustment to balance impact.
  • Combat Heuristics Extrapolator: More health for greater stability.
  • Red Sands Scout: Improved resilience and effect activation.
  • Field Marshal: Cost reduction to facilitate split card use.
  • Revered Captain: Better synergy with Bloodhound Transport and future 0-cost cards.
  • Ruthless Sergeant: Reversion of old nerf, regaining closing potential.
  • Sustained Assault: Lower cost to reward Assault strategies.
  • Assault Training: Cost reduction and aftermath impact adjustment.
  • Long Range Recon: Text simplification for clarity and utility.
  • Spearhead Formation: More offensive power to attract vehicle-based strategies.
  • Fall of the Victory: Cost reduction to 3 for greater viability.
  • Ammunition Stockpile: Cost reduction to 4 to encourage usage.
KATHARI
  • Convergent Mass: Now triggers effect at the end of the allied turn.
  • Accalia’s Cradle: Lower cost and gains counters from all clones.
  • The Rubicon: Regains Shielded and reinforces strategic options.
  • Velenatum Scout: Immediate value and synergy with muster.
  • Echo of Ancestors: Lower cost for late-game play.
  • Convergent Aegis: New solid design 2/3 for 2.
  • Swelling Tide: Buffs to both effects.
  • The Tide of Ottius: Compatible with musters.
  • Assimilate: Lower cost and discount on Convergent.
EARTHEN
  • Fungal Grenadier: Facilitates Decay expansion.
  • Helm of Avigdor: Cost reduced to 2.
  • The Citrine Rose: Choice between immediate or empowered Flourish.
  • Gaffar’s Peacekeeper: Permanent Muster pacify.
  • Nehemiah’s Mycelium Uplink: Fewer counters and immediate removal.
  • Optera Skimmer: Flourish now provides permanent value.
  • Triumph of Earth: More resources for ramp and card draw.
  • Paradigm Shift: Cost reduced to 1.
  • Terra’s Fury: More health to survive PS-8 Launcher.
  • Terraformation Engine: Lower initial cost.
  • Suncrusher: Overkill damage now affects all allied units.
  • Cleanse the Earth: Restrictions removed for Paragons.
AUGENCORE
  • Forlorn Companion: More health for better early-turn flexibility.
  • Jahn’s Tactical Provisioner: Now renews Shielded to reduce vulnerability.
  • Ghost Frequency Multiplier: Lower cost, no activation energy, and scaling option.
  • VoxTech Drones: Buff to strengthen Salvage mechanics.
  • Nano-Enhanced Fireteam: Exosuit now returns to hand after activation.
  • Forge-Tempered Titan: More health and vision of an additional card.
  • Self-Repairing Nanite: Lower cost and energy required to return.
  • Supply Crawler: Reward adjustment for better balance.
  • Triumph of Iron: Redesigned to allow multiple Overclocks per turn.
SHROUD
  • Dimension Shifter: Less randomness to improve viability.
  • Marionette Mastery: Now compatible with musters.
  • Dark Warden: Penalty change, prioritizes tempo loss over card advantage.
  • Corrupting Hand: Ability turned into Activate for recurring use.
  • Ruinous Exarch: Enables skill activation on Corrupted units.
  • Essence Shift: Now adds a token to hand.
  • Covert Assimilator: Slight buff to trigger effect without delivering the final blow.
  • The Flat Circle: Can target Paragons and has reduced cost.
  • Honored Steward: Regains compatibility with Paragons, but cost increased to 5.
UNIVERSAL
  • Rummaging Researcher: Less health to enable trades.
  • The Hacker: Regains tempo with immediate draw of hacked card.
  • Cyrene, Trophy Hunter: Battle Ready added and ability now Activate.
  • Ghosan, Viper of Ceres: Cost reduced to 4.
  • Duplicitous Dealer: Sabotaged Supply Caches effect made clearer.
  • Bounty Hunter Network: Simplified for future Wanted integration.
  • Cartel Arms Dealer: Lower activation cost for wider weapon deployment.
  • Battlefield Quartermaster: More Supply Caches after activation.
  • Retaliating Sentry: More attack to punish trades.
  • Supply Requisition: Lower cost for balanced value.
  • Updated Security Protocols: Concealment now costs a card, not energy.
  • Stealth Field Generator: Cost reduced to 2 to boost viability.


Bug Fixes

  • Fixed some card interaction issues, such as Catherine Lapointe attacking Cerys while she was in stealth.
  • Corrected the incorrect icon shown for Master-level players.

Known Issues

The team is currently aware of the following unresolved issues:

  • Duplicate icons appear on all cards.
  • The Hacker is disabled due to a bug that causes the game to crash.
  • Jahn’s Tactical Provisioner is disabled until the issue preventing it from losing its Shielded state is resolved.
  • Fall of the Victory is also disabled for causing a game crash.
  • Marionette Mastery has UI problems when pressing Pass during its interaction.
