The collaboration between Call of Duty: Mobile and Honkai Impact 3rd introduced a new roguelike co-op mode in Season 8 —Against All Fate. Up to three players can team up to face waves of enemies and make their way to a final boss.

How Does COD Mobile's Honkai Mode Work?

The mode supports up to three players, who must work together to overcome different waves of enemies before facing the final boss.

At the beginning, the team can choose between three maps with different difficulty levels. During the match, defeating enemies grants experience, while Elite Chests provide upgrades for weapons and characters.

The available loot and upgrades are randomized, meaning each match can offer a different combination of elements.

Weapon Traits, Stigmata, and Chips

The main upgrades are divided into Weapon Traits, Stigmata, and Chips. These elements allow players to modify their build during the match.

Weapon Traits

Weapon Traits modify the behavior or performance of weapons. Some upgrades can focus on increasing damage, while others improve survivability or enemy control.

Stigmata and Chips

Stigmata and Chips provide additional bonuses to complement the player's build. The choice depends on the elements obtained during each match, so there is no single combination for every run.

How to Progress During a Match?

The objective is to survive the waves and reach the final boss. During the early stages, it is important to gain experience and search for Elite Chests to improve the build before facing more difficult encounters.

Teamwork is also essential. If a player is knocked down, their teammates can revive them, making it easier to recover the team when enemy waves become more intense.

The mode also features an Infinite variant, where the objective is to survive for as long as possible while the difficulty progressively increases.

Tips for Honkai Mode

One of the main keys is to prioritize synergy between upgrades. A combination of complementary bonuses can be more useful than choosing upgrades independently.

It is also worth exploring the maps to find Elite Chests instead of focusing solely on progressing. The upgrades obtained determine much of the team's ability to overcome subsequent waves.

Additionally, the mode includes secret levels and enemies, although Activision has not publicly detailed all the conditions required to find them.

Quantum Platform in Battle Royale

The collaboration also includes a temporary event on the Isolated Battle Royale map.

Teams must find and complete a special contract to access the Quantum Platform. After defending a teleporter while it charges, they can use it to reach the area, where enemies inspired by Honkai Impact 3rd and rewards can be found.

Season 8 of Call of Duty: Mobile, released on September 9, 2026, also includes story missions, a collection system, and other content related to Honkai Impact 3rd.
