Wild Forest continues to surprise its community with new features, and this time they present us with Unit Fragments, a good way to obtain new Units in the game. This mechanic allows players to collect fragments and exchange them for complete Units, making the acquisition of new cards more accessible for active players.
Unit Fragments are a new feature that allows players to collect pieces that, once gathered, can be converted into a complete Unit. This mechanic was created to solve the problem of not having enough Units when new cards are released into the game. Without a sufficient quantity, the new Units would be too weak and not very usable in battles.
Players can collect 1 Fragment per day through a free minting, although a transaction fee will be required.
By gathering 20 Fragments, players will be able to exchange them for a Unit in the game. If they wish to mint this Unit as an NFT, they will need to pay a small amount of $WF along with the transaction fee. The best part is that Fragments are universal, meaning they can be used for any new Unit that is released. Additionally, players can choose to save the fragments for future releases if they prefer.
It is important to note that Unit Fragments are personal and fragile. This means they cannot be transferred or sold, as attempting to do so will break the fragments and render them unusable. This mechanism has been implemented to prevent the use of bots and exploitation.
