Stumble Guys is a free-to-play multiplayer battle royale developed by Kitka Games and currently published by Scopely. The title brings together up to 32 players in fast-paced matches where the goal is simple: run, dodge obstacles, and avoid falling until only one remains standing.

Available on mobile, PC, and consoles, the game offers accessible matches, light humor, and a competitive focus that has made it one of the most popular titles in the “party battle royale” genre.

Gameplay

Each Stumble Guys match is divided into elimination rounds. In each one, players must complete circuits full of traps, moving platforms, hammers, ramps, and slippery surfaces.
The goal is to reach the finish line before being eliminated, qualifying for the next round until reaching the final, where only one player earns the crown.

Controls are simple: move, jump, dive, and push. However, the game’s physics add an unpredictable element that turns every race into chaotic fun.

There are also first-person modes and team challenges, introducing new mechanics such as object collection and vehicle driving.

Game Modes

Stumble Guys includes a wide variety of modes and maps, each with unique rules and obstacles:

• Races: players compete to reach the finish line through courses full of jumps, traps, and moving platforms.
• Survival: the last player standing wins on disappearing or rotating platforms.
• Team Games: players are divided into groups to compete in mini-games focused on collection or defense.
• Themed Events: such as Floor is Lava, Banana Bonanza, or Plunder Party, with special rules and exclusive rewards.

• The Stumble Pass, a seasonal pass with missions and exclusive rewards

Cosmetics can be obtained through natural progression, the pass, or in-game currency (Coins).

In November 2025, the skin “Axel” was introduced — the first character in a wheelchair — as part of an inclusion update.

The game reached its peak popularity in 2022 with 20 million active players and continues to grow through frequent updates.
