Silver is an important resource in Subnautica 2 that is used to craft various objects and advanced upgrades. Unlike other materials, it is not found in the shallow areas near the Lifepod, so you will have to venture a bit further into the ocean.
Silver usually appears in caves starting from 30 meters depth. Its appearance is similar to Titanium, but with a more metallic and grayish shine.

Spot 1: Cave between Lifepod and Old Habitat
Head directly north from the Lifepod. Approximately 200 meters away you will find a small cave under a rocky overhang with purple jellyfish (Jelly Lei) above the entrance. This cave is relatively safe at the beginning and contains a good amount of Silver on the walls and ceiling.

Spot 2: Cave next to the Old Habitat
Once you unlock the Old Habitat, go to the right side of the camp. There is a large cave entrance. Go down following the glowing green plants. In the deepest area, where there are bright blue bulbs, you will find numerous Silver deposits.

Tip: Always bring Distraction Flares or the Survival Multitool, as there are several Nibbler Mangos and other predators in these areas.
