The KOR protocol allows game developers to integrate licensed music and intellectual property

KOR Protocol, the entertainment intellectual property infrastructure backed by Animoca Brands, announced today KOR Player, a new platform that allows developers to access digital products based on intellectual property and incorporate globally recognized licensed music through its dynamic artificial intelligence music engine.

Animoca Brands and Pixelynx, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands co-founded by industry executives, DJs, and producers such as Joel Zimmerman, also known as deadmau5, Richie Hawtin, also known as Plastkman, Inder Phull, Ben Turner, and Dean Wilson, are launch partners of KOR Protocol. KOR Player is already available for developers, and developers interested can request early access to KOR Player technical documents by completing the registration form.

The launch of KOR Player features functions that allow users and developers to play, create, and remix music through integration with a set of tools, including IP Vault, where artists can upload their music, and KOR AI Engine, which provides developers access to a growing library of sounds and generative artificial intelligence functionality, authenticated through the KOR Protocol. Artists are also eligible for royalties and rewards on-chain through KOR Protocol's blockchain technology and its native IP token.

For artists, KOR Player facilitates direct distribution in games through dynamic licensing, royalty tracking, and payments, all of which utilize the KOR Protocol's IP token. Artists and record labels receive a reward for their contribution, while

that developers have the freedom to innovate without the traditional barriers of licenses.

KOR Player is built on the KOR Protocol and aims to address a gray area around music copyright laws and the use of unlicensed IP in video games, live streams, esports broadcasts, and other channels that attract a large audience while providing artists and labels with new distribution channels to reach fans and monetize their work.
