The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth - All Endings Guide (Part 2: Hush to The Beast)

In this second part of our guide, we delve into the most demanding content and the most complex endings of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. These challenges require not only skill but also knowledge of specific routes and meeting prerequisites in each run.

Ending 17: Hush

This ending is achieved by playing against the clock; your goal is to defeat It Lives in less than 30 minutes.

• How to get it: Upon succeeding in time, you will see a crack in one of the room's walls. Enter, go down the hole, and you will access the Blue Womb, where Hush awaits you.
• The combat: It is one of the strongest bosses, with 6666 health points and several phases.
• Preparation: As soon as you go down, you will find treasure rooms, chests, and a shop. Try to carry about ten keys to equip yourself well before touching the wall to start the combat. By defeating it, you will unlock the The Void floor.

Endings 18-19: Greed and Greedier

These endings correspond to horde-type game modes, where you must resist waves of enemies.

• Ending 18: Achieved after defeating Ultra Greed for the first time, the final boss of the Greed mode.
• Ending 19: Achieved after defeating Mega-Ultra Greed, which has two phases.
• Unlock: To access the Greedier mode, you need to donate 500 coins in the Greed mode machine.

Ending 20: Delirium

Considered by many as the true ending (although it is not), Delirium is one of the toughest bosses, with 10,000 health points and endless phases.

• Access: You must enter The Void. The circular portal opens with these probabilities:
  • 5% when defeating Mom's Foot.
  • 10% when defeating It Lives.
  • 20% when defeating Satan or Isaac.
  • 25% when defeating ??? or The Lamb.
  • 50% when defeating Mega Satan.
  • 100% when defeating Hush.

Ending 21: The Corpse (The penultimate ending)

One of the most complicated endings, as it requires performing several steps in the same run. First, you must have defeated Hush at least three times.

• Downpour and Mirror: Look for the gray door on the first floors. In Downpour II, find the white fire and the mirror. Burn yourself to become The Lost and enter the mirror to get the first part of Mom's knife.

• Mines: Return to normal, defeat the boss, and use two bombs in the walled-off room to enter the Mines. In Mines II, activate three yellow buttons, get on the trolley, and pick up the other part of the knife.

• Mausoleum and Corpse: Escape Mom's maze, defeat the boss, and go through the spiked black door. Overcome the Mausoleum and Mom's Heart to enter The Corpse II.

• Result: Defeat Mom in the huge hole to unlock this ending and The Beast.

Ending 22: The True Ending

For this ending, you must perform an ascent instead of descending.

• Route: In Depths II, destroy the marked skull to get The Fool card. Defeat Mom's Foot, pick up an item, and use the card to return to the beginning. Interact with the door using the item.

• Ascent: Pick up "Dad's Note" in Mausoleum II. This will initiate sequences where you will hear Isaac's parents arguing while you go up room by room until you reach Isaac's house.

• The conclusion: Sleep in the parents' bed, return to the living room, and fight against Dogma. After defeating it, you will fight against the horsemen and, finally, against The Beast.

• Extra: In the house chest, you will find the Red Key to unlock Tinted Isaac.
