Elden Ring Endings Guide: How to Unlock All Endings

Elden Ring features a total of 6 possible endings to conclude your adventure. Although technically there are 3 main endings, one of them is split into 4 variations that share the same achievement or trophy.

Your actions, completed side quests, and key items obtained throughout the story will determine which Elden Ring endings you have available after defeating the final boss.

Elden Lord Ending Variations in Elden Ring

These four options represent different versions of the main outcome. All of them award the Elden Lord achievement or trophy.

1. Age of Fracture

This is the standard version to repair the Elden Ring.

• Prerequisite: Do not choose the "Lord of Frenzied Flame" ending.
• How to get it: After defeating the final boss, interact with the Statue of Marika and select the option to repair the Elden Ring.

2. Age of the Duskborn

This variant is obtained through Fia's questline.

• Prerequisite: Do not choose the "Lord of Frenzied Flame" ending.
• Required Item: Obtain the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince by completing Fia's story.
• How to get it: After the final battle, touch the Statue of Marika and choose to use the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince.

3. Age of Order

To unlock this variant, you must follow the Faith storyline.

• Prerequisite: Do not choose the "Lord of Frenzied Flame" ending.
• Required Item: Obtain the Mending Rune of the Perfect Order by completing Goldmask's story alongside Brother Corhyn's.
• How to get it: Touch the Statue of Marika upon defeating the final boss and choose to use the Mending Rune of the Perfect Order.

4. Blessing of Despair

A dark outcome linked to the Dung Eater's quest.

• Prerequisite: Do not choose the "Lord of Frenzied Flame" ending.
• Required Item: Obtain the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse by completing the Dung Eater's story.
• How to get it: Upon defeating the final boss, interact with the Statue of Marika and select to use the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse.

Ending: Age of the Stars

This is one of the main endings and is independent of the Statue of Marika. It awards the Age of the Stars achievement or trophy.

• Prerequisite: Do not choose the "Lord of Frenzied Flame" ending.
• Steps to get it:
  1. Complete Ranni's entire side quest.
  2. After defeating the final boss, do not examine the Statue of Marika.
  3. Interact with the blue summon sign located near the statue to summon Ranni.

Ending: Lord of Frenzied Flame

This ending unlocks the Lord of Frenzied Flame achievement or trophy and drastically alters your playthrough.

• Steps to get it:
  1. Complete Hyetta's story (Shabriri will tell you about this option, but interacting with him is not required).
  2. Accept Hyetta's proposal. The moment you accept, access to any other ending is locked.
  3. As a direct consequence of this decision, Melina will permanently leave you.
  4. After defeating the final boss, touch the Statue of Marika and choose to become the Lord of Frenzied Flame.
