Teamfight Tactics Set 17 introduces a vast number of synergies that combine technology, deities, and high-risk mechanics.

1. Animalia
A trait focused on technological research through combat.
- Mechanics: After losing to a player, you gain 20 technology (+ loss streak x 5). Each kill by Animalia units grants 2 technology. Upon reaching 100, you obtain an Animalia Weapon.
- (3): Research begins.
- (6): Upon winning a combat against a player, you gain loot!

2. Astromancer
Astromancers trace a different constellation in every game, revealing more empowered hexes based on the player's level.
- Constellation Variations:
- The Altar: Champion sacrifices grant 8% health and attack speed to allies on empowered hexes. After 60 sacrifices, the bonus increases significantly.
- The Boar: Grants gold (1 to 6), AP, and attack speed based on the trait level.
- The Medallion: Allies on empowered hexes receive 12% damage amplification (+6.5% for each 3-star ally).
- The Huntress: Marks enemies with the highest health. Allies gain attack speed and Astrals recover 10% health when the marked enemy dies.
- The Fountain: Grants mana regeneration and healing based on ability damage.
- The Mountain: Massive stat scaling (Health, AD, AP, Armor, MR, Attack Speed, and Durability).
- The Serpent: Grants durability (5% to 15%) and poison that deals magic damage over 3 seconds.

3. Bulwark
- (1): Summons a placeable relic. At the start of combat, it grants a shield equal to 10% of max health and 10% attack speed to adjacent allies.
4. Bastion
Provides solid defense for the team.
- Mechanics: Grants Armor and Magic Resistance (the value doubles during the first 10 seconds).
- (2): 16 defense.
- (4): 40 defense.
- (6): 60 defense (non-Bastion units gain 20 additional).

5. Space Wave
A scaling trait based on the number of thematic units.
- Mechanics: Units can enter The Wave!, gaining attack speed and health regeneration.
- (5): They gain 5% AD and AP (stackable) for every second they remain in The Wave!.
- (10): Permanent and empowered The Wave! state.
6. Party Animal (Blitzcrank)
- (1): Upon falling below 45% health, he becomes untargetable and recovers 15% health per second. If fully healed, he enters The Wave! and fires projectiles four times faster.

7. Galaxy Hunter (Zed)
- (1): Zed requires the "Invader Zed" augment. While he has living clones, Zed gains 40% additional attack damage.

8. Commander (Sona)
- (1): Every 2 rounds, she grants a random command modifier to alter an ally's behavior. Modifiers last for 2 player combats.

9. Channeler
- Innate: Channelers gain 20% additional mana from all sources.
- Mechanics: Your team gains mana regeneration; Channelers receive a higher amount (from 3 to 9 depending on the level).

10. Challenger
Focused on speed and repositioning.
- Mechanics: Grants attack speed to the team. When their target dies, Challengers dash and gain 50% extra speed for 2.5 seconds.

11. Dark Lady (Morgana)
- (1): Allies take 5% less damage from abilities (10% when Morgana adopts her dark form).

12. Gun Goddess (Miss Fortune)
- (1): When deploying her, you choose a mode: Channeler, Challenger, or Replicator. This defines her unique ability and associated trait.

13. Time Disruptor (Timebreaker)
Resource management mechanic based on combat outcomes.
- On Loss: Gain free shop rerolls.
- On Win: Store experience (EXP) in a temporal core.
- (3/4): Grants additional attack speed to allies and Time Disruptors.

14. Divine Duelist (Fiora)
An exclusive Fiora trait that rewards aggressive victory.
- (1): Your tactician heals for 15% of the damage dealt to other players upon winning combat. Additionally, Fiora always wins one-on-one duels.

15. Dark Star
Mass execution mechanic based on black holes.
- Mechanics: Units create a black hole that consumes enemies with 8% of their max health.
- (6): The strongest unit becomes Supermassive, increasing trait effectiveness by 85% and creating 2 extra black holes.
- (9): All units are Supermassive. At level 10, the black hole consumes everyone!
16. Sniper
Damage bonus for long-distance positioning.
- Mechanics: Snipers gain damage amplification that increases for each hex of distance from the target.
- (4): 28% base damage + 4% additional per hex.
17. Eradicator
- (1): Enemies suffer a passive penalty of 10% armor and magic resistance.

18. Doomsayer (Vex)
- (1): Marks all enemies with Doom. The first time they take damage, the mark is consumed, stealing 12% of their AD and AP to grant it to the strongest Vex unit.

19. Brawler
Survival boost for the frontline.
- (2/4/6): Your team gains 5% base health, but Brawlers receive significant bonuses of 20%, 40%, or 60% max health based on the trait level.
20. Oracle (Tahm Kench)
- (1): Every 3 rounds, Tahm Kench grants a free reward to the player.

21. Mecha
Units capable of merging into ultimate forms.
- Mechanics: Use the Mechaformer item to transform. They gain 50% health and improved abilities but occupy two team slots and count double for the trait.
- (6) Precision Engineering: Grants +1 to maximum team size.

22. Meeple
They attract "meeps" that power up abilities in unique ways.
- (7): Creates a cloning slot on the bench. Upon completion (time based on champion cost), you receive gold and a 1-star copy of the champion.
- (10): Summons the Four Horsemen of the Apocameepsis!

23. N.O.V.A.
Effect activation after a combat preparation phase.
- Mechanics: After 6 seconds of combat, grants a unique power surge based on the champion (Aatrox shreds, Caitlyn gives speed, Maokai heals, etc.).
- (5): You get an attack selector to choose which N.O.V.A. unit activates its effect.

24. Factory New (Graves)
- (1): After each combat, you open an armory to buy a permanent upgrade for Graves. Every 3 upgrades, future ones take an extra round to appear.

25. Shepherd
The primary summoning trait of the set. Shepherds use the Star Bond to bring allies to the board. Summons' power scales with the total star level of all your Shepherds.
- (3): Summons Bia.
- (5): Summons Bayin.
- (7): The bond between Bia and Bayin is significantly strengthened.

26. Rogue
Damage units that use stealth to survive and reposition.
- Mechanics: Gain attack damage and ability power. Upon falling below 50% health, they hide in the shadows, causing enemies to retarget nearby units (prioritizing tanks).
- (5): Grants an additional 55% AD and AP.
27. Primordian
This trait allows for the generation of a support swarm during combat.
- Mechanics: 8% of damage taken is converted into damage dealt. They generate swarm creatures based on the star level of unique Primordian units.
- (3): Generates 45% more creatures and grants a random cost 1 or 2 champion after each combat.

28. Psionic
- (2/4): Grants special Psionic items that can be equipped to any ally. If the holder is a Psionic unit, the item gains enhanced additional effects.

29. Redeemer
- (1): A unique trait that scales with your team's diversity. For every non-unique trait active, your team gains attack speed, armor, and magic resistance.

30. Replicator
- Mechanics: Ability activation triggers a second time consecutively.
- (2): The second activation has 22% strength.
- (4): The second activation increases to 45% strength.

31. Vanguard
Damage mitigation specialists through shields.
- Mechanics: While they have an active shield, they gain 5% durability. At the start of combat or upon falling to 50% health, they gain a shield based on their max health.
- (8): Grants a shield of 40% max health and 8% durability while the shield persists.
32. Arbiter
Allows the player to dictate combat rules through a Divine Law.
- (2): Choose a cause and an effect for your custom law.
- (3): Chosen effects become much more powerful.

33. Fateweaver
Focused on critical strike consistency and decision-making.
- Innate (Precision): Ability damage can critically strike. Grants 10% additional critical damage.
- Advantage Mechanic: Allows you to check two results of an ability and choose the best one.
- (4): 20% critical chance and 20% critical damage; critical hits also gain Advantage.

34. Voyager
Massive support trait for the start of combat.
- Mechanics: Tanks gain a shield for 15 seconds and other allies gain damage amplification. Voyagers receive double these benefits.
- (6): 700 shield and 27% damage amplification.

35. Marauder
- Mechanics: The team gains 5% omnivamp. Shadow Helm units gain additional omnivamp and attack damage.
- Shield Effect: Excess healing from omnivamp is converted into a shield (up to 25% of the unit's max health).
