The first and most essential thing here is to complete the game's tutorial. This tutorial will teach you the basics so you can understand the basic mechanics to some extent. Therefore, in this guide I will explain how to do it correctly and quickly, and with it, some tips for the complete gameplay:
First of all, create your character. Remember that you can customize the hair and facial gestures.
When you enter, the first thing you will find will be the NPC Gunner, who will give you the first mission. This will allow you to understand how the movement and attack mechanics work, which is similar to any MMO, with the keys a, w, s, d and the mouse. Here you must kill a Pumpkin Bat, which will be at the end of the path to the left of where the NPC is.
Follow the minimap
If you don't know how to locate yourself quickly, follow the minimap that appears in the upper left. It will indicate the next point to go with a yellow dot and even an arrow will appear and indicate how much distance is left to get there.
Equip the sword
It's time to continue with the second mission, for which you must speak again with Gunner, who will send you to Nash, an NPC that you will find right next door. This mission is one of the most important when starting out in Lumiterra, as it deals with talents, which are vital for the advancement of our character and therefore, it is essential that we understand what is best at an early stage.
Open the talents section
To open the talents section, press the "Esc" letter and go to the third icon, the book with a flame on top. Once there, on the left you will find the three branches: combat, gathering and farming.
In this mission you must level up combat. The important thing is to level up the main skill, which is the one that allows you to unlock the other skills, such as trampling, which is the one that asks us to level up as well.
With this, you must click on the yellow lightning bolt icon at the bottom right to put on the ability and activate it with Q, E or R.
Progressing in the game
Remember that the game after this, develops according to the approach you want to give it, since the main objective is to progress, which is not achieved by leveling up all the talents or levels. This is because going from one level to another will take you some time, since it requires or is based on the accumulation of resources.
The important thing here is to be clear that what allows you to climb within the game is the equipment, which is the main thing you should use the resources on, of course, in addition to the elaboration of energy.
Continuing with the missions, you will find Sylas, who will give you a complete kit to start developing your gathering skill, that is, a pickaxe, an axe and a hoe. With them, you must farm stones, logs and plants until they drop one of each. You will find these in the same area where the pumpkins are.
Don't lose your items when you die
Remember that if you die in these initial stages or in the general map of Lumiterra, as long as it is not a higher level (2 and above) or is a pve zone, you will only lose a little XP, but not your items.
The essence system
When you finish collecting the items, go back to Sylas, who will then explain how the essence system works.
To enter the energy menu, you will need to hit the blue lightning bolt on the top left, which is next to the energy bar. This will open a menu where you can use the bottles you have or create new ones.
In this quest, you must create a level 0 slime.
Farming bugs and gathering
Remember that in Lumiterra, in the standard world, the drop rate % is 18.5. This means that for each action, in this case killing pumpkins, you will lose 0.18 energy points for each pumpkin you kill and there is an 18.5% chance that you will get its drop.
Once you have the three pumpkin pieces that the quest asks for, go back to the bug-safe area.
Now you must continue with the missions, going to a specific point on the map. Where you will find a guard who will ask you to go to the central city.
Once in the city, you must look for the NPC named Haski, a dog, who will explain to you how the mission system, dungeons, etc. work.
Complete the quests and the dungeon
Haski will send you to talk to the other NPCs, specifically three, that is, one for each talent. In addition, he will send you to a dungeon, so you can understand how it works.
Don't worry about not going beyond level 2, it's normal since you're facing level 2 beasts.
Haski's reward
After completing this last stage, as a reward from Haski, you will get 11 energy bottles.
Finally, remember that the map, although it has peaceful pve zones, it is not advisable to go to red or even orange zones until you are well equipped.
