Netflix announced the development of a new official FIFA video game, set to launch in summer 2026 as part of the Netflix Games catalog. The release is planned for the months leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will take place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The announcement was made official on December 17, 2025, and marks the return of the FIFA brand to video games following its split with Electronic Arts in 2022.

The new title will be included at no additional cost with a Netflix subscription. It will not require consoles or mandatory in-app purchases, and will focus on an accessible experience for all types of players.
Development is being handled by Delphi Interactive, a studio founded in 2020 that has collaborated on AAA projects such as 007 First Light alongside IO Interactive.

Netflix confirmed the game will be available on:
For now, there are no announced plans for PC or traditional consoles.

The video game will feature:
The approach will be a simplified football simulator, prioritizing quick matches and the World Cup context, leaving aside the complex systems of previous FIFA installments.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino highlighted that the project aims to expand the reach of digital football to new audiences.
From Netflix Games, Alain Tascan stated that the 2026 World Cup will be a major cultural event and that the goal is to bring that experience into more homes in a simple way.
Meanwhile, Casper Daugaard, CEO of Delphi Interactive, said the studio is focused on creating a football game that is accessible and global.

This release is part of the ongoing expansion of Netflix Games, which has already added well-known titles such as WWE 2K25 and Red Dead Redemption. For FIFA, it represents a return to the gaming space; for Netflix, a direct bet on the global reach of the World Cup.
For now, there are no images, trailers, or deep gameplay details. Netflix stated that more information will be shared throughout 2026.
