Kingdom Hearts 4: Everything Revealed in the Trailer

Do you like Disney? Do you like challenging games? Do you enjoy complex plots? Well, you're in luck: at the end of next year, 2027, we will witness one of Disney's most anticipated games, “Kingdom Hearts IV”.

But, as always, we must first ask ourselves:

What is Kingdom Hearts?

Kingdom Hearts is a video game series developed by Square Enix in collaboration with Disney. The series combines original characters and elements from Square Enix, including characters from Final Fantasy, with Disney's worlds and characters. The protagonist is Sora, a cheerful and optimistic young man who, alongside his friends Donald and Goofy, travels through different worlds to fight the forces of darkness and help those who need it.

What was shown in the new trailer?

The trailer shown on August 16th features the world of Coco, along with Sora, Goofy, and Donald being there. This could imply that they died or that they traveled through a portal to reach the Land of the Dead. The protagonist's companions encounter Hades. They are looking for Sora, but they do not receive a positive answer, before the trailer moves on to gameplay featuring both characters.

Theories:

At certain points, Sora and his friends are seen in Shibuya, but the trailer's chronology appears to be mixed up, suggesting that something may have happened to the protagonist there before he was transported to the world of Coco. Another theory suggests that he is not dead, since black makeup can be seen on his skin.
