News in Axie Classic, SLP is back!

Recently, updates were published in Axie Infinity Classic, reputation systems, and some adjustments to the Golden Roulette, and in this OLA post we will detail them.

Introduction of SLP Chests

• For each victory in Arena or Cursed Coliseum mode, you will have a chance to receive an SLP chest. Inside this chest, the possible rewards will be:

• 20 SLP
• Jackpot: 2,000 SLP (0.1% chance)

The percentage of chest drops will depend on your performance in Axie Infinity Classic matches, your activity within the Axie Infinity ecosystem, and a reputation system that they will introduce in this latest update.

As we can see in this image, the reputation system is visible on the main screen of the game. This new reputation method has a level system, the higher your reputation level, the more chances you have of obtaining SLP chests.

Reputation Levels:

• Unknown: No chance of obtaining an SLP chest.
• Familiar: Low chances of obtaining chests.
• Distinguished: Medium level of chances of obtaining SLP chests.
• Honored: High chances of obtaining SLP chests

Every time we obtain an SLP chest, the percentage of obtaining the next chest decreases slightly. This system aims to balance the SLP drop, so high levels will start with high percentages of chests but will gradually decrease. Therefore, if your SLP collection is high, your reputation level will decrease to seek a sustainable system.

How to increase your reputation:

• Active daily and weekly participation in activities will increase your reputation.

• Your performance in game modes within

Axie Classic will increase your reputation.

• Fair play in Axie Infinity will increase your reputation level.

Adjustments to the Roulette

• One of the changes in the roulette is the removal of AXS and SLP rewards.
• AXS will go to the Mini-Tournaments reward pool when the season starts, setting a daily limit of 700 AXS.
• The SLP from the roulette will go to the SLP chests.
• Replaced spaces will have a reward of 5 gems or 100 Dust.

When will these changes be implemented?

The Axie Infinity team mentions that if everything goes as planned, the trial season will start on March 4, 2025 with the 66 new level 2 cards for Cursed Coliseum, thus establishing the start of the season on March 10.
