Palworld 1.0: 72 New Pals, Awakening, Mutation and All Improvements

Palworld 1.0 is now available. Pocketpair celebrates the official release from Early Access with a massive update that adds 72 new Pals, new mechanics, and deep improvements across almost every aspect of the game.

The most important things in version 1.0

New areas and exploration

• Sunreach: A floating archipelago in the sky with a new civilization, tower bosses, and exclusive minerals.
• The World Tree: The heart of the Palworld story. This is where the main mystery of the saga is revealed.
• Wildlife Sanctuaries: Converted into protected conservation areas with unique environments, exclusive Pals, and powerful bosses.
• New small islands, ancient ruins, watchtowers, and settlements.

Pal improvements (72 new)

• Total number of Pals rises to 287.
• Awakening: Strengthens your Pals using Radiant Gems at the World Tree.
• Mutation: When breeding Pals, there is a low chance of obtaining stronger versions with superior stats and unique passive skills.
• New cakes with special effects to improve breeding.
• Partner Skills rebalanced (over 200 Pals) with new effects and synergies.

Combat and gameplay system

• New active skills for many Pals.
• Improved riding controls.
• Direct attack command to enemies.
• Wild Pals with improved combat behaviors.

Base and construction

• New building pieces (fake foliage, aquatic structures, ancient civilization style, etc.).
• Improved Pal work behavior.
• New facilities such as Ancient Clinic and High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor.

Other relevant improvements

• Player level cap raised to 80.
• General rebalance of stats, drops, rewards, and difficulty.
• Multiplayer with integrated voice chat.
• Graphical, sound, and optimization improvements.
