Pokémon GO Halloween 2026: Shiny Greavard and Rewards

Pokémon GO’s Halloween 2026 event will run from October 27 to November 5, with two parts featuring costumed Pokémon, special encounters, and rewards. The main highlights include the debut of Shiny Greavard, new outfits, and a themed GO Pass.

Halloween 2026 Event Dates

• Part 1: October 27 at 10:00 a.m. to November 1 at 10:00 a.m.
• Part 2: November 1 at 10:00 a.m. to November 5 at 8:00 p.m.

All times are based on local time. The event will feature themed research, special decorations at PokéStops and Gyms, and catch bonuses.

Shiny Greavard and New Costumed Pokémon

The second part of the event will mark the debut of Shiny Greavard, available from November 1 to November 5. Players can look for it through wild encounters, research, and GO Pass tasks, although encountering one is not guaranteed.

The first part will introduce three Pokémon wearing special outfits:

• Pikachu wearing a hat and short cape: will appear in the wild and in one-star raids.
• Zubat wearing a top hat: will be available in the wild.
• Sinistea wearing a bow: will debut with its new outfit and be available through encounters and, depending on the event phase, raids.

Players will also have opportunities to encounter shiny versions of some costumed Pokémon. Field Research tasks will offer themed encounters and other items.

Halloween GO Pass: Prices and Rewards

The GO Pass will be available starting October 27. Players can earn GO Points, increase their rank, and unlock rewards.

Prices may vary by region. The free version will offer encounters and items, while the Deluxe Pass will provide additional rewards, including a baker-themed shirt and pants, Rare Candy XL, and Premium Battle Passes.

Rewards must be claimed before November 7, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time, when they expire.

Mega Sableye and Other New Features

During the second part of the event, Mega Sableye will be able to reach the Super Max Mega Level. This progression will unlock the charged attack Foul Play+, with a power of 55 in Trainer Battles and 160 in raids.

The event will also feature a remix of the Lavender Town music, themed avatar items, and special stickers available from PokéStops, gifts, or the in-game shop.

To make the most of Halloween 2026, players should complete research tasks, look for Shiny Greavard, and progress through the GO Pass before the event ends.
