How to Get the Feedback Resonator Upgrade in Subnautica 2

The Feedback Resonator is an advanced upgrade from the Sonic Resonator in Subnautica 2. It allows you to aim farther and break apart nearby resources if they are in reasonably sized clusters. It is one of the last items you can obtain in Early Access.

Where to find the Feedback Resonator

The Feedback Resonator is a mix of human and alien technology. It can be scanned in two main locations at the Metal Farms.

The Metal Farms are located approximately 500 meters east/northeast of the Alien Ruins Research Lab. Follow the seafloor north from the lab to arrive more safely and avoid the Collector Leviathan.

First scan: Next to the pool of suspicious liquid near Zip's second Blackbox. Be careful with Epicureans possessed by Tongue Thieves, as they become much more aggressive.

Second scan: On the third floor of the Metal Farms, on one of the lit decks. This area is slightly safer, with only normal Epicureans.

Once you scan both, you will unlock the recipe.

Feedback Resonator Recipe

• 1x Sonic Resonator
• 2x Enameled Glass
• 2x Conduit Crystals
• 2x Strontium

You will need the Modification Table to craft it. One can be found in the Alien Ruins Research Lab in the hallway past the first room.

Tip: This upgrade is very useful for collecting resources in clusters and for breaking the hard shells of the Blooms at the last Angel Comb.
