My Pet Hooligan

My Pet Hooligan is a third-person shooter and platformer developed by AMGI Studios, a team that includes former developers from Pixar and Electronic Arts. It uses Unreal Engine 5 to deliver advanced graphics, real-time facial animation, and full physical destruction.

The game has a satirical tone set in Hooliland City, an open world ruled by the corporation ZuckCorp and its leader Metazuckbot, a parody of major tech companies. Players take on the role of rebellious rabbits known as Hooligans, who fight to reclaim digital freedom and dismantle the corporate system that controls them.

My Pet Hooligan combines action, urban exploration, and skate mechanics, integrating Ethereum blockchain with Web3 elements such as NFTs and the $KARRAT token, used for governance, staking, marketplace trading, and rewards.

It is currently available in free Early Access through the Epic Games Store, with over 500,000 downloads and 30 million matches played.

Story and Setting

In the game’s universe, rabbits were enslaved by ZuckCorp as part of a digital control network. After a rebellion, the Hooligans movement emerged, divided into seven factions: Punk Bunnis, Mutants, Rogue Jumpers, Hare Raisers, among others.

Each group represents a distinct visual style, ideology, and ability. The story unfolds in Hooliland City, a chaotic environment filled with skateparks, skyscrapers, cinemas, graffiti, and dynamic events.

The tone is humorous and rebellious, with clear influences from Grand Theft Auto, Ratchet & Clank, and Zootopia, but with a more urban and futuristic aesthetic.

Gameplay and Modes

The gameplay blends combat, exploration, and advanced physics. Players can freely move around Hooliland City, use skateboards, perform combos, destroy vehicles, and face enemies controlled by both players and AI.

The main modes available are:

• Coinpocalypse: a competitive mode where players collect as many coins as possible while fighting each other.
• Anarchy Mode: a free-for-all or team-based combat mode focused on eliminations.
• Hang Out / Exploration: a social mode where players can explore the map, create graffiti, watch in-game movies, fight ZuckBots, or simply roam around the city.
• Upcoming modes: co-op missions, world events with bosses, extraction, and mini-games.

The game emphasizes freedom of movement and environmental destruction, offering a dynamic experience that evolves with every update. The most recent one, “Fully Loaded” (August 2025), added the Big Energy Carrot Stadium, improved skate physics, smoother combat, and a new Faction Reputation system.

NFTs and Economy

My Pet Hooligan features an NFT collection called Genesis Collection, consisting of 8,888 unique Hooligans on the Ethereum blockchain. These NFTs can be used as playable avatars and grant access to animation tools (Hooligram), $KARRAT staking, and exclusive skins.

ZuckBots, the game’s enemies, are also available as tradeable NFTs within the native marketplace, with zero fees when using the $KARRAT token.

The $KARRAT token (ERC-20) serves as the main currency of the ecosystem. It’s used for governance, rewards, marketplace trading, and staking. It also forms part of the KARRAT Protocol, supported by Animoca Brands and deployed on Studio Chain, an Arbitrum Orbit Layer 2 designed for gaming and AI tools.

The game’s economy blends play-to-earn and play-and-own elements, allowing players to generate in-game $karrots that can be converted within the ecosystem.
