SolForge Fusion

SolForge Fusion is a competitive card game that combines creature evolution mechanics, deck customization, and a battlefield lane system.

It was created by the designers of Magic: The Gathering and Ascension, with the idea of offering a unique and unrepeatable deck system based on algorithmically generated combinations.

Game Modes

SolForge Fusion offers various formats and play styles based on customization level:

• Constructed: Each player chooses two algorithmically generated faction decks that combine into a 20-card deck.
• Sealed: New decks are opened and played without modifications, ideal for discovering unexpected synergies.
• Deck Draft: Players pick from several factions in a controlled environment to form a strategic combination.
• Solo / Co-op (with expansions or fan-modes): Some sets allow play against automated decks or special scenarios.

Board and Positioning

The battlefield is divided into five lanes. Each lane can hold one creature per player, placed in their respective row. There are two rows: front (for active combat creatures) and back (for support creatures via abilities or effects).

Additionally, below each lane, an Exalt can be placed — a special type of permanent spell that directly affects the lane it occupies.

On the side of the board, each player has an Upgrade Pile, where Solbind cards and other related mechanics are stored.

Card Types

Creature Cards
They are the foundation of combat. They are placed in the board lanes to attack or block. Each creature has three levels (Lv1, Lv2, Lv3) representing its evolution:

Solbind Cards
Rare double-sided cards that begin in the upgrade pile and enter play only if another card summons them.

Spell Cards
Played from the hand to trigger immediate effects. They are not placed on the board and are discarded after resolving.

Exalt Cards
Permanent spells placed at the bottom of a lane, affecting that specific lane:

Evolution System

Cards evolve as follows:

• When a level 1 card is played, its effect triggers and its future evolution is marked.
• At the end of the turn, used cards go to the discard pile and the higher-level version (Lv2 or Lv3) is shuffled into your deck.
• This simulates "natural upgrading" without spending additional resources.

Factions

SolForge Fusion features four unique factions, each with its own playstyle, mechanics, and visual identity:

• Tempys: Focused on direct aggression and board control with explosive damage.
• Nekrium: Experts in graveyard manipulation, creature destruction, and persistent effects.
• Alloyin: Focused on upgrades, technology, armor, and precise control.
• Uterra: Masters of growth and creatures with natural and regenerative synergies.

Each deck is made by fusing two factions, creating unique combinations between playstyles.
