Endura moved into Closed Beta Phase 2, we launched OLA TCG, more than 8,000 Booster Packs were opened, and Reactors continued to push our Play to Save vision forward. But the most important part of August was how we built all of this together with our community.
August was one of those months where a lot happened at OLA at the same time.
We launched, tested, got things wrong, adjusted, and tested again. And a big part of that process happened together with our community.
We watched you play, read your messages, received bug reports, listened to ideas, analyzed rankings, and met during live sessions to understand what was working and what we needed to improve.
Endura kept growing. We launched OLA TCG. Reactors kept turning on.
And perhaps most importantly, Play to Save is starting to prove in practice something that only a few months ago was just an idea.
During August, we continued moving forward with Endura Closed Beta Phase 2, our game built around a simple idea: playing can help you think differently about your money.
This new stage allowed us to test new mechanics with real players and receive a huge amount of feedback.
We also held live sessions with our Spanish-speaking and Brazilian communities, where we played together, listened to their experiences, and talked directly about what we could improve.
That process is a fundamental part of how we want to build Endura.
We don't want to spend months developing behind closed doors and then reveal a finished product. We want the people playing the game to be part of how it evolves.
During the month, we also launched dontspend.io, our new website where we share more about Endura, Play to Save, and the vision behind what we're building.
We also published content that goes deeper into some of the ideas behind the project.
A look behind Endura and the engine that makes it possible to connect the game with Play to Save.
💎 We Built a Game So You Don't Spend Money
Why we decided to build something that might sound contradictory at first: a game designed to help you spend less and think more about the long term.
August also marked the launch of OLA TCG, our collectible card game and community battles.
Players can collect cards, build their strategy, and compete throughout each season for ranking positions and prizes.
opened during August
But Season 1 wasn't just our first competitive season. It was also our first big opportunity to learn how the game behaved with the community actually playing it.
The ranking allowed us to identify directly which parts of the game needed balancing.
We combined that data with player comments, bug reports, and community suggestions to make adjustments during the season itself.
We also improved the match interface, making each battle clearer, faster, and easier to understand.
In other words, Season 1 wasn't only about players competing. It was also about players helping us build Season 2.
OLA TCG Season 2 starts this Friday, September 4. ⚔️
And there's also a new Booster Pack on the way. 👀
While we were launching new games and mechanics, another fundamental part of the OLA ecosystem continued growing quietly every day.
The Reactors keep turning on.
Users keep their Reactors active and receive rewards while their savings remain inside the system.
We're continuing to grow and seeing very strong retention. Users aren't simply joining, playing, and leaving: they're coming back, keeping their Reactors active, and continuing to grow their savings over time.
That's exactly what we wanted to start proving.
When we first started talking about Play to Save, it was a hypothesis:
Can we use the mechanics that make video games engaging to help people build better financial habits?
We still have a lot to learn, but every active Reactor helps us begin answering that question through the real behavior of our community.
And for us, that means much more than simply having a feature that works.
It means seeing our community move toward a different relationship with money and, hopefully, toward a better future.
And that makes us incredibly proud. 💙
August was a big month for OLA, but we still have so much to build.
If there's one thing the past few weeks made clear, it's that we want to keep doing it the same way: testing fast, listening to the people playing, and building together with our community.
Endura keeps evolving. OLA TCG is entering its second season. The Reactors keep running.
And September is already underway.
What did you enjoy most about OLA in August? And what are you hoping to see in September?
