Reigns: Beyond is now available on Android and iOS, bringing the series' decision-making formula to an intergalactic rock tour. Instead of managing a kingdom, players must keep a band alive as they travel between planets, land gigs, recruit aliens, and manage the resources aboard their ship.

The key is once again to swipe cards left or right, but every choice can alter the course of the game. With more than 1,400 decision cards, there is no single list of correct answers: the best strategy is to understand which risks to take and which resources to protect.

How Decisions Work in Reigns: Beyond

The system retains the signature mechanics of Reigns. Each situation presents two alternatives, and players must swipe the card in one direction to make their choice. The consequences can appear immediately or affect later events during the tour.

In Beyond, decisions are tied to the band's survival, the condition of the ship, its resources, and relationships with the crew. An apparently favorable choice can end up causing a problem if it leaves any of these elements in a dangerous situation.

For this reason, the priority should not always be to choose the option that appears most beneficial. What matters is observing what changes after each decision and avoiding leaving the same resource or crew member too exposed.

There Is No Correct Option for Every Card

One of the most common mistakes when starting is trying to find a universal answer for every situation. Reigns: Beyond is specifically designed so that decisions depend on the context of each playthrough.

The game features more than 1,400 cards and over 60 characters, including Lord Shark, Strombo, Gron, the crew, and the ship's artificial intelligence. This allows different playthroughs to present different situations and consequences.

For that reason, a good guide is not about memorizing left or right. It is about learning to interpret the consequences of each choice.

Prioritize Survival Over Fame

The goal of the tour is to turn the band into an intergalactic star, but increasing fame should not come at the expense of ignoring the condition of the ship or the crew.

When a card offers an attractive reward in exchange for taking a considerable risk, it is worth considering first whether the ship can withstand the consequences. A decision that provides an immediate advantage can backfire if it later leaves the group without enough resources to deal with another event.

The safest rule is simple: if an option provides a small reward without putting an important resource at risk, it is usually preferable to a much more dangerous alternative.

Crew Decisions Matter Too

The band is not made up solely of the main character. Throughout the adventure, players can recruit different alien members and meet numerous characters.

Crew-related decisions should be considered beyond their immediate reward. Maintaining good relationships and paying attention to events involving certain characters can unlock new situations and prevent problems later on.

It is also advisable not to make impulsive decisions during events involving band members. If a card offers the opportunity to help a character in exchange for accepting a cost, the player should consider whether they have enough room to absorb it before accepting.

Watch Out for Combat and Unexpected Events

The tour does not take place exclusively between concerts. Reigns: Beyond features encounters with pirates, tax collectors, and other enemies through swipe-based combat.

These encounters are another reason not to spend all available resources during previous events. Entering a fight with the ship or crew in poor condition can turn a manageable situation into a defeat.

There are also quieter moments aboard the ship, where the band can rehearse or help lost space travelers. These situations are part of the decision-making cycle and should not simply be considered secondary content.

How to Make Better Decisions During a Playthrough

To reduce the chances of ending the tour prematurely, it is worth following a few basic rules:

1. Check the ship's condition before taking risks. A reward is not worth a consequence that could compromise the group's survival.

2. Do not always pursue the most beneficial option. Apparently better decisions can have consequences later on.

3. Keep a reserve of resources. It is not recommended to spend everything available on a single situation, especially before events or combat encounters.

4. Pay attention to recurring characters. Decisions involving certain members can have consequences later.

5. Learn from deaths. Losing a playthrough is part of Reigns' structure. The consequences make it possible to identify which decisions were too risky and adjust the strategy during the next tour.

6. Do not aim for a perfect playthrough. The game's design is built around experimentation and the consequences of decisions. The goal is to progress and discover new situations, not to avoid every possible mistake.

Where to Play Reigns: Beyond on Android and iOS

The new mobile version arrived on Android and iOS on August 12, 2026, after the game was previously available through Apple Arcade. The current version is distributed as a paid game and does not require a subscription to access its content.

On Google Play, the standard listed price for the mobile version is $4.99, although a launch promotion temporarily reduced the price to $2.99. On the App Store, the price may vary by region; the listing also confirms compatibility with iPhone and iPad and support for Spanish.

In addition to the decision-making system, the version includes unlockable galactic guitars, combat, more than 60 characters, over 1,400 cards, and an original soundtrack by Sam Webster.

The Best Strategy Is to Manage Risk

Reigns: Beyond does not require players to memorize hundreds of answers to progress. Its system is built around consequences and adaptation: every choice should be evaluated according to the current condition of the ship, the crew, and the available resources.

The key to extending the tour is to avoid unnecessarily risky decisions, keep some resources in reserve for unexpected events, and learn from every playthrough. In a game with more than 1,400 decision cards, making a mistake does not necessarily mean losing progress: it is also a way to discover which path can take the band farther on its journey across the galaxy.
