What is Pixel Dungeons?

Pixel Dungeons is an exciting play-to-earn dungeon crawler where players delve into dangerous underground chambers to collect $PIXEL tokens. Each match lasts just two minutes, offering a fast-paced adventure filled with strategy, agility, danger, and competition.

Players can mine $PIXEL, sabotage their opponents, and take on goblins while avoiding deadly lava pools. Survive the round, and all the $PIXEL you've collected is yours, transferred directly to your wallet.

Closed Beta Schedule

The closed beta began on December 16, 2024, with gradual access based on players' reputation scores in the original Pixels game. The beta schedule is as follows (all times in UTC):

Day 1 (Monday, December 16)

Time: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM (4 hours)

Reputation Requirements:

• Free Maps: Minimum 3,000

• Premium Maps: Minimum 3,000

Day 2 (Tuesday, December 17)

Time: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM (6 hours)

Reputation Requirements:

• Free Maps: Minimum 3,000

• Premium Maps: Minimum 3,000

Day 3 (Wednesday, December 18)

Time: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM (12 hours)

PLAY PIXEL DUNGEONS

Game Objectives

• Collect as much $PIXEL as possible in two minutes.

• Sabotage other players and steal their loot.

• Survive the dangers of the dungeon: goblins, lava, and opponents.

• Find rare and epic $PIXEL ores for massive rewards.

How to Play

The Basic movement in the game is centered around the arrow keys or w,s,a,d adding right-click chopping and left-clicking TNT. In fact, you'll need to:

• Mine $PIXEL

• Use your pickaxe to collect $PIXEL scattered around the dungeon.

• Survive the full two minutes to keep all your loot.

• The more $PIXEL you collect, the slower you move. Plan wisely!

• If you die, you'll drop your loot bag, which other players can pick up.

Choosing Your Dungeon

Free Maps: No entry fee, but standard rewards. In these maps, you'll have 10 free chances to try and play (which are spent if you die too) that reset every 24 hours.

Premium Maps: These require a small entry fee in $PIXEL that is reflected in spikes (typical of pixel dungeons, nothing to do with the items in classic pixels), but offer significantly greater rewards. Here, each chance to play will consume an investment.

PvP Mechanics

TNT Sabotage:

• Place TNT with right click to sabotage your opponents.

Beware: TNT is lethal to everyone, including yourself.

Loot Bags:

• When players die, they drop their loot bags.

• Walk over these bags to claim their treasures.

Goblins and Lava

• Goblins:

Avoid waking up the goblins; they are relentless once alerted, just touching you will kill you.

Use TNT to defeat them and claim their $PIXEL loot bags.

• Lava:

Lava pools are instant death. Stay away!

At first, it will be difficult to try to avoid the lava, since your character moves very quickly, so be careful.

Special Rewards: Epic $PIXEL Ores

Occasionally, players will find Epic $PIXEL Ores hidden in the dungeon. These ores offer huge $PIXEL payouts to lucky miners. Keep digging and keep an eye out for these lucrative opportunities!

Tips for Success

• Balance Mining and Survival: Greed can slow you down and make you an easy target.

• Strategic Use of TNT: Save TNT for critical moments, such as escaping goblins or stealing from opponents.

• Stick to Safe Routes: Avoid lava and high-traffic areas where PvP is intense.

• Explore the Dungeon Quickly: Learn the map layout to maximize your mining route.

• Temporarily Ally: Form temporary alliances to take on tougher goblins or dominant players, but don't trust anyone for too long.
