The next big Web3 shooter? Providence is coming to the Epic Games Store.

Providence, the new third-person survival shooter developed by Dynasty Studios, is now available to be added to your wishlist on the Epic Games Store. Powered by Avalanche technology, the game is gearing up for its early access launch, blending exploration, PvPvE combat, and an on-chain economy based on optional digital assets.

Early Access Features

In this initial stage, players will be able to access two of the three main worlds that will be part of the full release:

• Homestead: serves as a base of operations, allowing players to build structures, craft gear, and upgrade equipment for future expeditions.
• Slipworlds: unstable, time-limited zones filled with valuable resources and hostile creatures. Players must explore, gather materials, and extract them before the environment collapses—facing both environmental threats and other players competing for the same loot.

Blockchain Integration

Providence introduces Web3 features through an Avalanche subnet, enabling an on-chain economy and real ownership of in-game items. However, these features are completely optional:

• No external wallet connection is required to play.
• The game includes its own internal wallet, also accessible via web, for those who wish to interact with blockchain features.

Available features for players who opt into Web3 elements include:

• On-chain ownership and trading of items.
• Participation in exclusive events and early access testing.
• Staking and voting systems to influence the game's development.
• Maintenance and upgrades for Community Outposts, shared spaces within the game.
• Customization of gear, dropships, and cosmetics via the $PRV token (without significant competitive advantage).

The $PRV token does not yet have an official generation date.

Access and Community

Providence will be a free-to-play title built in Unreal Engine 5, though the official early access release date has not yet been announced. However, players can gain early access through giveaways on the official Discord server, where closed beta keys are being distributed.

Providence aims to merge traditional elements of multiplayer survival and action with non-intrusive digital economy options.
