FC 26: How to get Reus, Ramires, and Karl for free in FUTTIES

The FUTTIES promotion has brought EA SPORTS FC 26 to the final stage of the Ultimate Team cycle, with very high-rated cards and several free players available through objectives. Although much of the content from previous weeks has already expired, there are still rewards that can improve a squad without spending coins.

Among the objectives that currently stand out the most are those for Marco Reus, Ramires, and Lennart Karl, along with the FUTTIES objective chains that award tokens, packs, and season points. Priority depends on the time available and the position each squad needs to reinforce.

Marco Reus FUTTIES: the main free card

The FUTTIES Favourite: Reus objective is one of the most time-consuming pieces of content, but it also offers one of the highest-rated free cards currently available.

The final reward is a 97-rated Marco Reus FUTTIES, with MCO as his main position and overall stats of 93 pace, 99 shooting, 92 passing, 95 dribbling, 72 defending, and 85 physical.

To earn it, you need to score in separate matches using at least three FUTTIES players as starters. Progress is divided into four stages:

• Lock in: score in 15 matches.
• Momentum: score in 30 matches.
• Determination: score in 45 matches.
• The Final Hurdle: score in 60 matches.

Matches can be played in Squad Battles from Semi-Pro difficulty upward, as well as in Rivals, Champions, or certain Live Events. Each stage awards additional packs, including 6x 85+, 10x 86+, 6x 88+, and 7x 89+ rare gold players.

The main advantage is that the objective doesn't require winning a set number of matches: simply scoring in different matches is enough. Because of this, Squad Battles is the easiest option for those who want to complete the challenge in a controlled way.

Ramires FUTTIES: one of the best options for the midfield

Another objective that deserves priority is Favorite: Chip Shot King Ramires, which allows you to obtain a 97-rated Ramires FUTTIES Hero for free.

The unique aspect of this challenge is that you don't need to complete all four available tasks. Only three of the four need to be finished, which means you can skip the task requiring scoring in 45 matches and cut down the overall time needed.

The most efficient combination consists of completing:

• Cheeky Chips: score with a chipped shot in five matches.
• Providing Service: get two assists in 15 matches.
• Assist in 30: register at least one assist in 30 matches.

This way, all three objectives can progress simultaneously, and the main requirement ends up being 30 matches. These conditions can be completed in Squad Battles from Semi-Pro upward, or in Rivals, Champions, and Live Events.

Ramires stands out especially for those who need a central midfielder with defensive ability and range. In addition, his 97-rated version can take advantage of different Evolution paths available in FC 26, although those upgrades depend on the requirements and cost of each EVO.

Lennart Karl FUTTIES: fewer matches and extra rewards

The FUTTIES Lennart Karl is another free card still worth pursuing. His objective requires five tasks and can be completed in as few as 10 matches if the requirements are combined correctly.

The final card has a 97 rating, plays as MCO, and has 96 pace, 95 shooting, 94 passing, 97 dribbling, 76 defending, and 85 physical. It also has five-star skill moves and five-star weak foot.

The main tasks require using three Bundesliga players, two defenders from that league, a German midfielder, and a player born on or after July 23, 2008. You also need to score two goals in three matches with an MCO, get five assists with a German midfielder, concede three goals or fewer in three matches, and win 10 matches.

The reward includes, in addition to Karl, 100 FUTTIES tokens, 10,000 coins, 3,000 season points, and several Player Picks and 88+ packs.

Given the balance between time invested and rewards, this is one of the most accessible objectives for players who are still building their squad.

FUTTIES objectives can also be used to earn tokens

Not all current objectives directly award a card. The FUTTIES Week 1 campaign, for example, offers up to 40 FUTTIES tokens and 1,300 season points through four challenges.

These include playing three matches, scoring in five matches, playing 10 matches, and scoring in 15 matches. They can be completed in Squad Battles from Semi-Pro upward, or in Rivals, Champions, and Live Events.

These objectives are especially useful for those trying to accumulate tokens for FUTTIES swaps. They can also be combined with other challenges that require playing or scoring in matches, reducing the total number of matches needed.

Which one should you complete first?

Priority mainly depends on the time you have available:

1. Lennart Karl: the fastest option among the major free cards mentioned. It can be completed in 10 wins and grants numerous additional rewards.

2. Ramires: requires up to 30 matches with the recommended strategy, but offers a 97-rated midfielder who can have a greater immediate impact on a squad that already has good attackers.

3. Marco Reus: the longest objective, at 60 matches, but the final reward and the packs earned along the way justify the effort for those who play Ultimate Team frequently.

4. FUTTIES Week 1: should be taken advantage of while it's still available, especially for the tokens and season points. Its duration is much shorter than that of the player objectives.

EA lets you check objectives directly from the corresponding Ultimate Team tab. In addition, FC 26's system allows you to mark objectives and groups as favorites to track their progress during matches, a feature that's especially useful when combining several challenges.

At this stage of FC 26, objectives represent one of the most direct ways to reinforce a squad without relying exclusively on the market or on packs. Priority should go to the free cards that are still available and, after that, to the token and pack objectives that can be completed simultaneously.
