Last weekend, the OLA GG community experienced an exciting competition with the Forgotten Clash, a friendly tournament that brought together content creators from Latin America and Brazil in the universe of Forgotten Playland.
The top 5 users with the highest total score won $10 to spend in the OLA store. Thanks for voting and supporting your favorite creators!
The first day featured four Latam content creators competing in free-for-all matches. The objective was clear: only one of them would secure the final spot to represent the region in the grand final against Brazil.
During the session, Rengarsito didn’t show up, and Ivo stepped in as an impromptu replacement, allowing the competition to continue with four participants.
The standout performance came from yujuuu01, who managed to outplay his rivals despite their temporary alliances to stop his dominance. Still, he was the first to secure two victories and earned a direct spot in the final.
The grand final took place on Saturday, featuring two representatives from each region: yujuuu01 and DrekzeNN for Latam; Dyen and Ammy for Brazil. The format was best of five 2v2 matches, and from the start, Brazil took an early lead with a 2-0 that suggested a quick win.
However, the Latam team didn’t give up. They took a break, turned off their streams, and began coordinating every move more effectively. The strategy was simple yet effective: if one of them took control of a round, the other supported to secure the necessary three wins and close the match. The result was an epic comeback: 3-2 in favor of Latam.
The community was not only able to follow the event live but also take part by voting for their favorite creators through the official OLA GG site. Among all voters, prizes in USDC were raffled, and the tournament winners also received rewards:
Forgotten Clash was an opportunity for the OLA GG community to celebrate the talent of its creators, connect the Latam and Brazilian regions, and enjoy Forgotten Playland from a different perspective: one of competitive yet community-driven gaming.
Despite unexpected setbacks, the competition unfolded with energy, creativity, and a good dose of humor. And to top it all off, Latam took the victory.
The community keeps growing, and these kinds of events allow us to stay connected, compete, and enjoy the best of Web3 gaming together.
