MapleStory N: Quick Start Guide for Beginners

Imagine combining the classic adventure of an RPG with the thrill of earning real rewards. MapleStory enters the Web3 world on the Avalanche network, and lets you start from scratch—no NFTs, no gear, and no crypto experience needed. In this guide, you’ll learn how to pick your class, reach level 100, and earn tokens even as a total beginner.

Get Ready for Launch

• Official launch date: May 15, 2025.
• Pre-download now available! You can install the game client from the official site (requires 30GB SSD).
• Important: You must complete identity verification (KYC) to access the game’s Web3 features. Also, make sure your country is not on the blocked regions list. This will be checked when you connect your wallet.

Choose Your Class: Basic Professions

The game offers five major class types, each with unique styles:

• Warrior: Hero, Paladin, Dark Knight

• Magician: Archmages (Fire/Poison or Ice/Lightning), Bishop

• Archer: Bowmaster, Marksman

• Thief: Night Lord, Shadower

• Pirate: Buccaneer (recommended), Corsair

New player tip: Choose Pirate → Buccaneer. This class deals great AoE damage, moves fast, and doesn’t depend on NFT gear. Avoid Paladin or Cleric if you don’t have stat boosts—they rely too much on gear.

Leveling Path: 0 to 100 with No NFTs

• Lv. 0–30: Do quests around Hennessy and farm nearby monsters.
• Lv. 30–60: Job advancement + complete these 4 Theme Dungeons:
  1. Ellinel Fairy Academy
  2. Secret Forest of Elodin
  3. Gold Beach
  4. Riena Strait
  If you're not Lv. 60 yet, go hunt Drakes or Fire Boars.
• Lv. 60–65: Complete Mushroom Castle and advance your job.
• Lv. 65–75: Do quests in Sleepywood and Orbis.
• Lv. 75–85: Hunt in Nihal Desert (2 maps left of Magatia).
• Lv. 85–95: Hunt Saities in Magatia.
• Lv. 95–97: Complete Elin’s Forest dungeon.
• Lv. 97–100: Return to Magatia and farm more Saities.

Tips & Strategies to Progress Faster

• Choose high-density maps: Fiery Ravine spawns more mobs than Site 2 and can give up to 32% more EXP.
• Use level range advantage: Stay within ±10 levels of monsters to avoid EXP penalties and get max rewards.
• Elite Boss: Defeats 20 elite mobs on the same map to summon one. System alerts will warn you when it’s near.
• Party up: Farming with friends improves clear speed and loot sharing.

Web3 Economy: Earn While You Play

• NESO: Earned in-game by defeating enemies and completing missions.
• NXPC: Main token of the Nexpace ecosystem—used for NFTs, rewards, and events.
• No crypto experience needed: Everything is integrated. Just connect your wallet and play.
