From October 31 to November 2, the Vasco Esports team represented Brazil in the Wildcard tournament at DreamHack Atlanta, one of the most recognized esports events in the world. The qualification came through the OLA CUP, and the team achieved an outstanding third place, consolidating the presence of Brazilian talent on the international stage.

The “Road to DreamHack” campaign was born with a clear goal: to offer a real opportunity for community teams to reach world-class tournaments. Within this project, the OLA CUP became the bridge connecting new talents to global stages.
The championship was designed to highlight consistent performance, rewarding teams that maintained a high competitive level throughout the season. Vasco Esports showed a solid combination of technique, strategy, and adaptation to the game’s meta — factors that, along with their winning mindset and community support, secured their long-awaited qualification for Atlanta.
Taking a Brazilian team that emerged from a community tournament to the DreamHack podium reinforces the purpose of the OLA CUP: to drive the growth of the esports ecosystem from its roots.
This result represents a collective victory:
After earning their spot, the team intensified its preparation to face a high-level in-person (LAN) tournament. In Atlanta, Vasco Esports played a series of challenging matches that tested both their technical and mental strength.
In the end, the effort paid off: the Brazilian squad secured third place in the Wildcard Tournament, a result that validates the OLA CUP format as an effective platform for discovering and projecting new talent.
The experience made it clear that Brazilian players can compete on equal footing with top teams worldwide.
“The OLA CUP gave us a clear and challenging path. We were tested at a high level and arrived ready for DreamHack, representing not only our organization but also the entire community that supported us.”
— Denis, Vasco Esports
The growth of the project would not have been possible without the active participation of the community and the constant support of the fans, who are the driving force behind the OLA CUP. The audience’s response at every stage confirmed that the format works and that the connection between players, fans, and organizers continues to strengthen.
The OLA CUP will remain a gateway for new competitive gaming talent.
The OLA team thanks everyone who took part in the process, the partners who supported the initiative, and especially Vasco Esports for carrying the Brazilian flag with commitment and professionalism in Atlanta.
