The new season of Parallel is now live. Starting today, players can dive into Fading Light, an update that brings major improvements to the progression system, competitive adjustments, and exclusive content.
New cards, strategic mechanics, unique cosmetics, and a revamped Battle Pass mark the beginning of a season packed with fresh features.
Starting today, the Battle Pass adopts a new format designed to offer a clearer and more rewarding progression. Each level now grants a single reward per path, making progress tracking simpler.
Regular levels now extend to 50, each requiring exactly 1000 XP to advance. Extra levels (from 50 to 100) still cost 4000 XP each but are now reorganized into a fixed rotation of rewards between expansion packs and base packs.
XP sources have also been significantly improved. Winning a match now grants 100 XP (previously 60) and losing gives 50 XP (previously 20). Daily missions give 1000 XP and weekly challenges rise to 5000 XP, accelerating progression without sacrificing challenge.
The new pass also introduces exclusive benefits. Players who purchase it will receive four times more $PRIME in monthly emissions compared to those who don't. This benefit is already active and will be visible in the game client in the next update.
Future seasons are expected to expand the system: players will be able to select cards by rarity, unlock visual variants, fragments (scraps), and more. A Premium+ mode is also being explored to further enhance rewards for those seeking a more intense progression.
One of the season’s highlights is the arrival of Cerys, Siren of the Eclipse, a new rare card from the Shroud faction. This unit introduces the keyword Stealth, a mechanic that prevents the opponent from attacking or targeting the unit as long as it hasn't attacked.
Cerys will also star in the Special Edition and Masterpiece raffles at the end of the season. More details on how to participate will be shared soon.
The Battle Pass also includes exclusive cosmetics: a new card back, special frame, and two unique titles. The “Erasurehead” title is unlocked at level 2, while “Space Karen” is unlocked at level 50. As usual, these items will only be available during the current season.
Starting today, improvements to the competitive system also go live. The rank concealment period at the beginning of the season has been removed, and now players can reach Diamond 5 directly from placement matches, raising the previous cap of Platinum 3.
Matchmaking has also been enhanced, especially to offer a fairer experience for high-ranking players.
With the removal of the Renown requirement in Echos, the Surge Key's function has changed. From now on, winning two ranked matches in a row will activate the key, granting a 20% XP bonus for each consecutive victory afterward, stacking up to a 100% bonus.
There’s still time to enter the Season 14 raffle. If you have a First Edition copy of Ravyn, Dread Sect Wraith in your wallet and keep it there until May 8 at 15:00 UTC, you will automatically be entered in the draw to receive the Special Edition or Masterpiece version. Make sure to claim and mint your card before that date.
