Getting Started in Cambria: The Essentials for Progress

Cambria is here, bringing a new opportunity to explore, gather, and compete. This brief tutorial is designed for those who want to start off on the right foot by optimizing resources and time from the very beginning. Below are the essential steps to progress efficiently during the first days of the event.

Creating Your Character

To get started:

1. Log in to the Cambria page with your Ronin wallet.
2. Click on SetUsername to create your character.
3. You can customize basic features such as hair, eyes, and skin tone, and assign a name.
4. The character will be directly linked to your wallet.
5. Click Play (top left) and select the world to enter.

First Steps in the World

Upon entering, you'll appear on the lower dock of a starting island. There, you must complete a tutorial that will teach you:

• How to move and gather resources (mainly using the mouse).
• Where and how to craft items.
• How to equip yourself properly.
• How to obtain Silver, the in-game currency used to buy resources, improve gear, and participate in the airdrop.

Pay Attention to NPCs

During the tutorial, it's important to identify the NPC names. Regardless of the island you're on, they will always serve the same purpose:

• Shops.
• Mission dashboards, among others.

Initial Resource Gathering

At this stage, it’s recommended to collect the basic resources located on the left side of the map:

• Leather and meat (by killing cows, which also levels up your skills).
• Minerals (using the starter tool kit). Note: Tools wear out with use but are sufficient for exploring the island and gathering Silver to repair or upgrade them.

Using the Market and Accessing the Main Island

Once you have enough materials:

1. Go to Cyril, located in the upper central part of the island, next to the anvils and NPC Sousin.
2. Sell resources until you collect 100 Silver.
3. Head to the dock at the top of the map.
4. Talk to NPC Fong, who will transport you to Cambria’s main island in exchange for Silver. On this island, the gameplay remains the same: gather resources, upgrade skills and gear, sell to Cyril, and accumulate Silver.

Special Material Types

While gathering and fighting, you can obtain three special material types:

• Artifacts
• Curiosities
• Jewels These can be exchanged for Royal Favor, which is crucial for the airdrop.

Skill Progression and Combat

When defeating creatures (peaceful or hostile), you will develop four main skills:

• Stamina
• Strength
• Health
• A fourth skill depending on your weapon:
  • Magic (wand)
  • Archery
  • Sword

Starting Equipment

It's recommended to begin as a warrior or archer, since the mage class requires hard-to-get items and is more vulnerable early on. As you progress, the game allows you to use two of the three available classes. Ideally, begin by gathering basic minerals (left side of the tutorial map) to craft your first armor, which provides initial protection against tier 1-2 enemies.

Basic Controls

• Movement and interaction: left mouse click.
• Selling items:
  • Talk to Cyril.
  • Open inventory via the bottom right menu or the 5 key.
  • Right-click the item and choose the sell option.
• Accessing menus: keys 1 to 0 (equipment, settings, etc.).

Additional Recommendations

• Before exploring, store valuable items in the bank (NPC Adam) to avoid losing them if you die in dangerous areas.
• Since the event lasts only 15 days, it’s best to focus on one specific skill. After reaching level 40, upgrading requires paying Silver periodically, making it costly and inefficient to level up all skills.
